Kari Lake, the Arizona Republican candidate for governor and former Fox 10 Phoenix news anchor, seems to be everywhere lately.
Earlier this month, the Atlantic declared her “Trumpism’s leading lady,” then spent more than 3,500 words explaining why. The Washington Post elaborated a few days later. “[Lake] has emerged as a Republican phenom by amplifying Donald Trump’s lie that the 2020 election was stolen,” read the subhead of its even longer profile. Last week, Axios went several steps further and reported that top Democratic strategists now believe Lake has the “potential to soar to a vice presidential spot or a post-Trump presidential candidacy.”
“If you get a candidate who has the performance skills of a major-market local TV anchor and the philosophy and thinking of Steve Bannon, that’s a potent and dangerous combination,” Barack Obama guru David Axelrod told the site. “Look at Italy."
By last weekend, Lake was sparring with Dana Bash live on CNN — and sparking yet another media tizzy by refusing to say that she will accept the result if she loses in November.
“I’m going to win the election and I will accept that result,” Lake said (twice).

Wow, they have gone all out haven't they?
The good news is, hardly any voters in Arizona read these screeching far left screeds.
Don’t forget “extreme”. Maybe they should just say “extremely dangerous”?
I long to see so-called “progressives” weeping and wailing like they did in ‘16.
Meanwhile, they didn't bother to ask Hillary, who went on to spend 6 years not accepting that election without a single bit of pearl clutching about threats to democracy from the media.
Vertical lines of vote returns do not happen in honest elections.
Never mind large numbers of votes jumping from one candidate to the other.
Make no mistake Lake is their #1 target. They will do ANYTHING to stop her. They know she will do a forensic dive into the 20 theft and she will have the power to do it. If the truth comes out for even 1 state it’s over Biden will be exposed as the illegitimate liar he is.
The national media has made much of what one might call her style: the “familiar pixie cut”; the large silver cross she took to wearing “for protection” shortly before she announced her campaign; the “impossibly smooth” skin showcased in “ethereal” campaign videos. And then there’s the power of her voice — “deep but still feminine; firm, even severe, but smooth,” as the Atlantic put it. “Like black tea with a little honey.”With "Kari Lake" prominantly mentioned in the title and throughout the Yahoo article, there shouldn't be any leftard confusion of this description with that of Stacy Abrams. \sarc
This is rich coming from the same people who propagated and amplified the Russia Collusion lie for 4 years without any proof whatsoever. At least Trump has actual evidence, in their own words, about the efforts by the media, big tech, etc., to “fortify the election” i.e., cheat.
“Threat to our democracy”
Dangerous? Yep, she threatens the “narrative”.
“This means they think she will win. Biggly.”
That is EXACTLY what this means. And they can’t stand it.
It’s amazing how conservative Women are more attractive that liberal Women.
Lake has them scared...
“I long to see so-called “progressives” weeping and wailing like they did in ‘16.”
Absolutely.
Yes. Attractive in all ways.👍
Good post. Seeing both of them side by side is a lot better than showing just one graph.

All I hear are all those dangerous Republicans (from Lake down to our local dog catcher) who would ban baby killings!
Hillary is already saying the 2024 election is in the process of being stolen.
Now that is why, I like Yahoo News so much.
They are always, ALWAYS so fair & balanced.
That is being Sarcastic for you literalist.
