Former Chinese President Hu Jintao was physically removed from the Community Party Congress Saturday and his name was scrubbed from the country’s Internet as his successor tightened his ironclad hold on power.
The frail Hu, 79, appeared to look confused as he was hauled from his seat by a steward who repeatedly tried to lift the older man from his seat, drawing concerned looks from officials seated nearby.
Hu, who was seated next to Chinese president Xi Jingping, then put his hand on a sheet of paper placed on a folder in front of the leader.
Xi quickly put his own hand on the paper.
China’s top legislator Li Zhanshu, seated to Hu’s right, gave the former president’s folder to a steward, wiping his own head with a cloth after Hu finally stood up.
Looking distressed, Hu appeared to resist leaving as the stewards escorted him out, turning back to his seat at one point. On his way out, he exchanged words with Xi and patted Premier Li Keqiang, seated to the right of Xi, on the shoulder.
There was no explanation for the exit of the frail leader, who retired in 2013. Hu was escorted away from the congress by officials about halfway through the day’s events at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing.
Hu’s abrupt exit appeared to be censored on China’s social media platform, Weibo, with searches Saturday afternoon for his name returning posts published before the weekend, Bloomberg reported.
Xi is in the midst of consolidating the effort that is expected to land him an historic third five-year term, making him the most powerful leader since the country’s revolutionary hero Mao Zedong.
Hu’s removal was watched by the 2,000 congress attendees and captured on camera.

What are you talking about? Sure it’s 24/7 Adolf Trump but nothing from Trump to rebut the lies. Trump, the American Patriot is a non person. After Trump was barred from ALL social media, All regular media and All press he had no contact with 80+% of the American people. Trump has been more or less incommunicado since the coup. Even those DS whores at FOX have banned him except for a few minutes on Carlson or Hannity. FR, sites like this and the new alternative media regularly quoted here reach squat. Truth Social is bust. Where all of Trumps treats reached 50+million, his truths have interactions in the thousands.

It is who they are. And we have Americans who want to emulate that.
Xi has convinced me that he is a dangerous man who must be deterred.
In my view — this public humiliation of Hu Jin Tao does not bode well for world peace.
I was in China during Christmas 2007 to New Year 2008 when Hu was President. That was the year of the Beijing Summer Olympics.
The relationship between Taiwan, Hong Kong and China was GREAT then. Trade was flourishing and cross ocean visits and tourism was at its peak. Hu Jin Tao was always an advocate of good relations with the USA and a soft approach towards reunification with Taiwan.
It’s looking like this public display of removal of Hu by Xi is sending a stern message that the old policies of former leaders will Not be tolerated. This does not bode well for a peaceful future ☹️
Hu’s social credit score probably isn’t the only thing in a basement, now.
Xi Jin Ping saying, “If I can do this to former president Hu Jintao, I can do this to anyone.”
On the other hand, maybe the elderly Hu Jintao wet his pants or had diarrhea and Xi was tired of breathing it?
Incredibly, many members of the international financial community are encouraging Xi Jin Ping to make the Chinese yuan an international currency.
Right - a ruthless all powerful dictator in charge of international payments. Great idea, guys!

Hu was making pretend farting noises with his lips. Xi got fed up, had him removed. Hu should have been frog marched out of the building and kicked to the curb

We don’t know WHAT they did to Hu Jintao. China does MUCH more secretly than is ever known to anyone within or without China. Hu Jintao may never be seen again.
You must understand that hardspunned is an infiltrator who is here to agitate FOR fascism and deplore the west. Their masks were ripped off by the Ukraine-Russia war. They can’t stand it that Ukraine won’t allow itself to be conquered by fascist RuSSia, so they spew venom.
Dunno why they are allowed to fester here.
