Donald Trump on 2024 - It would be very disloyal for Pence and my other cabinet members to run.

Agree 100 percent. It would confirm their self-serving duplicity. Many wannabee hangers-on surrounding ALL men/women of accomplishment are nothing more than parasites.
Very few are True Allies. Opportunists surround all who dare and succeed. And, opportunists are NOT to be admired. They are to be shunned as pariahs.

Maybe Pence said he wouldn’t run and then had time to think about holding all of that power and worldwide influence.
He wouldn’t be the first to change his mind after the passage of time.

After The Big Steal of year 2020, I have no use for Mike Pence, but he is free to throw his hat in the ring if he choses. A man has to first be ‘loyal’ to himself. Don’t forget his wife Karen might want that life as well, maybe even more than Mike wants it. She may be chompin at the bit, deluding herself over his chances.

That’s ridiculous. We’re not a freaking monarchy, and nobody owes the Presidency to anyone else. Let the voters decide.

If Pence and Trump have parted ways then I can’t see Pence being beholden to that. He is obligated to do the best for the country, whatever he thinks that might be.

but several other high-profile Republicans like Pence, former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley, among others, are also reportedly considering a bid for the White House.

None of whom matter.
But hey bring it on.

Pence would never have gotten so high in government without Trump's help. He (Pence) would be stupid to run against him.

If Pence runs, it will only prove how big a loser he really is.

They’re all circling to see what happens to him.

Will Thompson and Cheney figure out a way to put him in jail like they’re doing to Bannon? Will they try to go bigger than just obstruction or whatever?

Bannon ignored a subpoena, as so many others have and was punished while those others weren’t. Time will tell what his appeals will result in as he’s allowed to stay free until they’re exhausted. I’m betting that he never spends a minute of those 4 months in a jail cell.

But, I wouldn’t put it past the Pence puppet masters to convince him he has a shot. There are plenty of Republican’s like Romney, Kemp, Duncan and others RINOs that would cheer him on only to watch him make a fool of himself....Mike Pence is going to hold a rally in ????. Pres Trump is going to have one in that same city as well, on the same day, at the same time. The Pence rally would, maybe, have some local Chamber of Commerce POSs, a county GOP clown and some intern from a local news affiliate with a company owned iPhone.

They want to pull off enough votes to deny him a clear delegate win going into the convention. They want a convention where he doesn’t win on the first vote. Then they’ll (them and the RNC) will use rules of a brokered convention to try and choose someone else.

While I will support PDJT, I give him the same counsel I give to ANY aspirant. “No individual owns an election or nomination. You must earn it.”

“Trump boasted that “the polls have me leading by 40, 50 points” ...”

Trump “boasted.”

Anyone else, it would have been written “stated”, “observed,” “quoted,” and so on.

GOP Conservatism is not conservative. It is uniparty deception.

Populist tradionalism is consercative, and President Trump is the closest to it of all in the arena.

Did he really expect loyalty out of the crowd he had around him? He should have learned by now that none of those he had around him were ever loyalty to him or the country, only loyal to themselves, and many of them were loyal to the Deep State.

If you want loyalty then get a dog. Trump’s opponents will be no more loyal to him then he will be to them.

IMO, it would have been very disloyal for them to run against Trump in 2020, after first resigning but not in 2024. Totally different situation. None of them would have a chance but that’s a different issue.

Nobody owns the presidency. They can run if they want to. They won’t get any votes…

And there’s the rub. A little polling and common sense will tell even these egomaniacs that they have no support. So why run? Three reasons: It damages Trump ahead of November (if that’s your purpose)… It builds a war chest that can be traded for power down the road… Or it positions you for Vice President if you are careful not to trash Trump.

There are a few people out there who would make a good president. We definitely have a deeper bench than does the DNC. Years of control by the Clintons followed by Soros has left them with no actual leaders who aren’t frauds, lunatics, or criminals. Their entire bench is made up of hacks and puppets.

Traditionally, though, you don’t run against an incumbent of your own party. And since the election was openly stolen from Trump, he is our incumbent. Future Repub presidential candidates should put their ambitions on hold and back him… not out of loyalty to him, but loyalty to us. Presuming, of course, that Trump himself doesn’t go off the rails somehow. Support for him isn’t blind, but it is firm.
