Like in 2020?
Capture one or both of the political parties in the United States. How is the disloyalty of RINOs strange?
— Communist goal #15
If Pence runs, it will only prove how big a loser he really is.
It absolutely is disloyal for Trumps cabinet members to run in 2024 especially Pence. If it wasn’t for Trump CHOOSING them in the first place nobody would know who the hell they were. Sure they have a right to run in 2024 but if Trump is running I don’t see how it’s anything short of disloyalty.
They’re all circling to see what happens to him.
Will Thompson and Cheney figure out a way to put him in jail like they’re doing to Bannon? Will they try to go bigger than just obstruction or whatever?
Bannon ignored a subpoena, as so many others have and was punished while those others weren’t. Time will tell what his appeals will result in as he’s allowed to stay free until they’re exhausted. I’m betting that he never spends a minute of those 4 months in a jail cell.
But, I wouldn’t put it past the Pence puppet masters to convince him he has a shot. There are plenty of Republican’s like Romney, Kemp, Duncan and others RINOs that would cheer him on only to watch him make a fool of himself....Mike Pence is going to hold a rally in ????. Pres Trump is going to have one in that same city as well, on the same day, at the same time. The Pence rally would, maybe, have some local Chamber of Commerce POSs, a county GOP clown and some intern from a local news affiliate with a company owned iPhone.
They want to pull off enough votes to deny him a clear delegate win going into the convention. They want a convention where he doesn’t win on the first vote. Then they’ll (them and the RNC) will use rules of a brokered convention to try and choose someone else.
While I will support PDJT, I give him the same counsel I give to ANY aspirant. “No individual owns an election or nomination. You must earn it.”
Or maybe he just lied. Like when he said he wouldn’t certify the election, but then he did.
“Maybe they were shaken up by Trump and suddenly felt on the outside of things, so they push back in various ways.”
There are two main readings for disloyalty and pushback to Trump, I believe, and they aren’t really ideological. Trump threatened exposure of their dirty dealings for generating personal revenue. And pure/simple jealousy. Money and jealousy are motives inspiring most crimes in general, and this is no different.
He must earn it? Are you kidding me? Against these two? Pence doesn’t have it. And President Trump is right he is being very disloyal and he misled us leading up to January 6th and he keeps LYING to us. We didn’t want him to overturn the election. He had all kinds of authority but didn’t have the smarts or the guts to use it. He blew it. Then there’s Pompeo out there saying he’s going to run against Trump - another are you kidding me? We wanted him in Trump’s cabinet, but the guy lost 100 lbs and lost his mojo and lost his mind too apparently.
All part and parcel of being a POLITICIAN. It's what they do. It's what they are.
“Trump boasted that “the polls have me leading by 40, 50 points” ...”
Trump “boasted.”
Anyone else, it would have been written “stated”, “observed,” “quoted,” and so on.
I don’t think it’s disloyal, but it’s a waste of time, money and oxygen. Pence doesn’t have a chance.
It’s all good because his good buddy Kevin McCarthy is just waiting to stab him in the back.
GOP Conservatism is not conservative. It is uniparty deception.
Populist tradionalism is consercative, and President Trump is the closest to it of all in the arena.
Did he really expect loyalty out of the crowd he had around him? He should have learned by now that none of those he had around him were ever loyalty to him or the country, only loyal to themselves, and many of them were loyal to the Deep State.
I’m all in on DJT if he runs but dude, if you’re not going to run, who cares if Pence runs or not. Either sh!t or get off the pot.
If you want loyalty then get a dog. Trump’s opponents will be no more loyal to him then he will be to them.
IMO, it would have been very disloyal for them to run against Trump in 2020, after first resigning but not in 2024. Totally different situation. None of them would have a chance but that’s a different issue.
A politician's first loyalty should be to the country, not to some other politician in a "you scratch my back and I'll scratch yours" mindset. I have zero problem with a former underling running against a former president. And that's regardless of who the president is.
