Authorities on Wednesday seized thousands of suspected fentanyl pills hidden in candy boxes at Los Angeles International Airport.
Someone tried to go through security screening with some snacks and bags of candy at about 7:30 a.m., the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said in a statement.
"However, it was discovered that inside the 'Sweetarts', 'Skittles', and 'Whoppers' candy boxes were fentanyl pills," the statement said.

The missus bought Skittles to give out for Halloween. I ate one bag for myself. Darn are they good! But they seem like they’ll rot teeth faster than a can of Coke.
They’re like crack. I can eat them until I feel unwell.
For some reason Skittles, Sweetarts, and Smarties are the Devil to me...

What a horrible, cruel, thought. All those disabled and mentally ill homeless veterans outside the fence of the Veterans Hospital go from “no man left behind” to “here— die now”.
