The annual elementary school Halloween parades of a Pennsylvania school district have been scrapped due to “inclusivity” and “safety” considerations, leading to an uproar on the part of disappointed parents.

I don’t celebrate Xmas, but we sure do drive around and look at Christmas lights. Even if I didn’t, I wouldn’t care. Not my business.
I also have a giant menorah in my front years, real oil lanterns. (Originally a ‘gig at the HOA that ticketed me for not decorating for Xmas, that is now a neighborhood tradition.)
My neighbors love it, too.

Golly gee willikers, those poor students trapped in the library. At a school, no less. The horror of it all. I guess they end up celebrating Halloween anyway.
You can’t get much more inclusive than a bunch of people pretending to be something they are not.
1958, my Catholic school decided to NOT have an 8th grade boat ride to Rye,NY Playland. The nuns were not happy about the recent boy-girl parties that were happening and cancelled the trip to punish us. A couple of mothers got on the telephone and organized the whole shebang! No 8th grader went to school that day...they were all on an excursion boat on LI Sound headed for Rye!
They changed them to “ Story and Fairy Tale” parades here years ago.
The kids dressed up in costume and had fun.
