U.S. B-52 bombers and around 60 other aircraft are taking part in NATO’s weeks-long nuclear exercise, which kicks off on Monday amid Russian threats of nuclear war.

According to a statement by the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), 14 countries and up to 60 aircraft will take part in the nuclear exercise known as “Steadfast Noon.” A NATO official said part of the exercise would be held more than 625 miles from Russia, VOA reported.

NATO described the exercise as “a routine, recurring training activity” that is “not linked to any current world events.”

They are standoff cruise missile trucks with surprisingly good ECM.

“isn’t that how this whole conflict started?”

____________

No, it absolutely is not how it started and I know you have already been educated on how it started. You prefer to lie to yourself and others, to make yourself feel good about what you do, that what’s going on here.

Better countermeasures now. And the idea is that air defense systems will have already been neutralized before the BUFFs come in. Stand-off weapons too.

B 52’s are nice, fat, relatively slow targets for the Russians to shoot down if they want to.

B-52s have massive standoff capacity, firing up to 20 cruise missiles from 1000+ miles away from enemy lines.

“...before it will accept an existential military defeat”

Except getting whupped trying to invade Ukraine isn’t an existential military defeat.

I remember reading that part of the Cuban missile crisis agreement was that we promised never to attack Cuba.

There were two British fighters flying over the Black Sea this morning (our time) on Flightradar24. I’ve seen many NATO surveillance and refueling aircraft flying in that area, but I’ve never seen fighters, and I’m very surprised they were transmitting their ID.

Question: Is it your desire to see Russia (and, for that matter, China) unchallenged?

Is your animosity towards NATO because the US is part of it?

Would you be okay with a NATO sans the US?

Ya, because war games take place in a vacuum. Like the one in Joetato's skull.

It sure is, the TU-95 Bears propeller noise will make one go Deaf. Good ol’ counter-rotateing supersonic propellers.

My stupid sister voted for plugs brandon because she was sure President Trump would get US into a nuke war.

Haven’t contacted her since the great steal happened and I hung up on her after she said that...
