That’s more than you can get for 3 Russian tanks.

Hope someone collects.

Sounds like Girkin is in a real pickle.

He shares a trait with Che Guevera.

“Girkin was also declared internationally wanted by the Netherlands for participating in the downing of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 over Ukraine, which killed 283 people.”

“Documents found in Girkin’s Slovyansk office after he fled revealed that he had ordered the executions by firing squad of at least three people in Donetsk following hastened military trials. Girkin later admitted to sentencing three more men to death and killing one of them himself.”

Ukraine offers $100,000 bounty for former Donetsk separatist commander

And whats really hilarious is the Russian government may charge Igor Strelkov with "discrediting the RF Armed Forces," if they don't have him killed in action first.

Igor “Strelkov” Girkin has the honor of being on Putin’s most wanted list, and the Ukie’s most wanted too.

Update for Russian Ops vs. Ukraine for October 17, 2022

- Russian forces are closing in on Bakhmut city - with even the Western media noting the inevitability of Russia’s victory there;
- Ukrainian offensives are grinding to a halt - whatever additional gains they make will be temporary and inevitably reversed as Russia prepares what appears to be a major offensive of its own;
- Western media is depending heavily on propaganda to paper over severe weapon and ammunition shortages in Ukraine and the implications it has on Kiev’s fighting capacity;
- The US is lashing out with an increasingly desperate tone as nations around the globe refuse to subordinate themselves and their nation’s interests to US foreign policy objectives - India being among them;

There are years of reasons why the Ukrainians put a price on his head.
Some past threads on Igor "Streklov" Girkin:

7/16/2022: EU Marks Anniversary Of Downing Of MH17 Over Eastern Ukraine In 2014

"Russian suspect Oleg Pulatov, a former officer of the Russian Army, in 2014 headed a unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate in a region of eastern Ukraine controlled by Russia-backed separatists."

"The other three defendants are Russians Sergei Dubinsky and Igor Girkin and Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko.">

1/24/2015: UKRAINE: Ex-terrorist leader Igor Girkin: “Referendum in Crimea was a farce” [VIDEO]

. "Our troops had to force the deputies into the Oblast Council hall so that these representatives would vote in favor of our initiatives. I know this because I have been at the time commandeering one of such militant teams and I've seen it all from the inside. We had absolutely no support from the people, not to mention the army. The Ukrainian army units remained loyal to Kyiv as they were. Furthermore, most of the army remained that way. The only thing that made what we have accomplished in Crimea possible was the presence of Russian army."
8/14/2014: In Ukraine, Separatist Commander 'Strelkov' Seems To Be Getting Frustrated

With Moscow placing as many as 20,000 Russian military personnel along the border with eastern Ukraine, but so far resisting his call for a full-scale "peacekeeping" mission, Girkin is now lashing out at his own supporters for the military losses."

"In a recorded video in late July, Girkin recorded an urgent call for volunteers, expressing dissapointment that so few had decided to take up arms against Kyiv."

7/22/2014: How Long Before the Kremlin Fits DPR Commander Strelkov (Igor Girkin) with a Pair of Cement Shoes?

"Live by the sword - die by the sword: The shady character running eastern Ukraine's pro-Moscow 'rebel' militia built his reputation on patriotism, guile, and cruelty: Igor Girkin -who took the non-de-guerre 'Igor Strelkov or 'Strelok' (shooter in Russian) for his part as a 'volunteer' in the Kremlin's ongoing land-grab in the Donbas- previously served as an FSB (post-1995 KGB) agent right up until March of 2013, held a top military-intelligence post in both Chechen wars, and had a finger in Crimea, Transnistria, South Ossetia, even Bosnia (where he volunteered to fight for the Serbs)."

"There are further rumors out of Ukraine that Girkin organized the snipers who shot Maidan protesters in Kiev earlier this year. Experts in Kiev say he now works directly for the GRU (Russian military intelligence)."

"But while Moscow continues to smear the democratically-elected Kiev government as 'Nazis', their boy Strelkov's the one who's actually a scary hyper-nationalist: brilliant/disciplined, he's also a ruthless kook enamored with Russian/Slavic political and military history, as well as that ever-elusive Russian 'greatness' people like him and Vladimir Putin are always daydreaming about."

Russia claims it was the people of Crimea, Donbas and Luhansk were all separating on their own. The reality is it was Russia all the way, calling for it, paying for it, leading and fighting for it. Igor Girkin was at the tip of that spear, as he was for Russian operations in the Caucasus and Southern Europe for the last thirty years. He operates in much the same way as Vladimir Zhirinovsky did as controlled opposition or the "bad cop" to more "moderate" elements in Russian politics to achieve the same goals of reestablishing the USSR.
