Driving in it is definitely the pits!
Walking in it is fun .... or maybe it’s just the “vampire” in me that thinks so. LOL I love walking in thick fog. If the moon happens to be shining bright, it’s even better. :-)

I didn’t know they were hauling in THAT many people. Sounds like it’s going to be a fun day. NOT!
This is one week you’ll be glad to have behind you.

I do, too, like to walk in the fog......except in town. In town you can get mugged. LOL!

A very pleasant good Monday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.
How's everyone doing this morning?

It’s Carl Sandburg. I’ve loved it ever since the first time I heard it in Jr. High.

Yeah, in some cities it isn’t too smart to walk in thick fog, especially at night. I could do it here but I don’t know what Odessa is like.
I’m lucky to live on a farm and have room to move about. I just have to hope I don’t spook any deer because when they “woof”, they scare the you-know-what out of me. LOL It’s happened more than once.

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))
Was it a nippy day for your outing yesterday? Nippy weather makes Gizmo frisky and probably hard to keep up with. LOL
Got your long johns at the ready?

I was never much for poetry so if it ever came up in school, I forgot about it.

Well, the fact that I have heard that they are dropping off Venezuelan illegals at a rest stop just outside of town doesn’t give me much confidence in safety any more. Not sure the rumor is true, but I don’t want to find out the hard way.
I can only imagine how that “woof” sound in the darkness of night would strike fear. It could be ANYthing. LOL!
Guess I’ll finish this show and head out. I’m pretty tired after my early morning. See ya tomorrow!

I wouldn’t be surprised if the rumor is true. They’re shipping them up this way in droves and a lot of them show up here. It’s farm country so I guess they think they’ll get jobs. No clue as to how many stay though.
If we’re getting them, it’s a pretty sure bet you are.
That “woof” sound is loud and it’ll make us jump during the daytime. They like to graze in the small field by the end of the house and we don’t always notice them when we step out the door but they notice us.
At night time it sounds louder and they really make us jump.
Sleep well and sleep late. Catch ya tomorrow.

It was a bit nippy yesterday but we still enjoyed our trip to the lake. Also, we had a little drizzle while we were there.
Now, don't let this picture fool you. He enjoyed the trip but as you can see, he didn't want to smile when I took the picture. When I put the iPhone back up was when he smiled again.
