I doubt he will lose. However, if it ends up being this close, Dems are in for a really long night across the rest of the country.
He is counting on support from his fellow Viet Nam Veterans - especially those who fought in Da Nang
Like John F’n Kerry?...
We may not win all of these, but close polls in democrat states make me think a true red landslide is coming.
It’s hard for people to ignore the economy and crime, and most people hate the open border as well.
Would be a great victory.

Is it my imagination, or are the R’s generally gaining ground nationwide?

Blumenthal received five draft deferments during the Vietnam War,[18] first educational deferments, then deferments based on his occupation.[19] In April 1970 Blumenthal enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserve which, The New York Times reported, "virtually guaranteed that he would not be sent to Vietnam".[20][21][22] He served in units in Washington, D.C., and Connecticut from 1970 to 1976,[23][24] attaining the rank of sergeant.[25]During his 2010 Senate campaign, news report videos that showed Blumenthal claiming he had served in Vietnam created a controversy.[26] Blumenthal denied having intentionally misled voters, but acknowledged having occasionally "misspoken" about his service record.[27] He later apologized to voters for remarks about his military service which he said had not been "clear or precise".[28]
