Israel has been providing Ukraine with "basic intelligence" on the Iranian drones used by Russia in its invasion, The New York Times said on Wednesday.
A senior Israeli official reportedly told the Times about the intelligence sharing, and that a private Israeli firm was also giving Ukraine satellite imagery of Russian troop positions.
"We are told that there are allegedly no Iranian drones in Ukraine. Well, we’ll find ways to ensure that there aren't any left, indeed."
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky Russia's use of Iranian drones Russian forces have been using several variants of Iranian drones in its Ukraine campaign since at least August, Ukrainian, American and UK officials have confirmed in separate intelligence reports.
In particular, Moscow has been using the Shahed-136 suicide drone. However, the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has seen limited success.
"These UAVs are slow and fly at low altitudes, making lone aircraft easy to target using conventional air defenses," said the UK Defense Ministry on Wednesday, but noting that "there is a real possibility that Russia has achieved some success by attacking with several UAVs at the same time."

I know, but amount and depth will increase.
All this is doing is aligning countries for a potential global war.
And why, for two crooked Slavic dumps.
How about a nuke?
Russia transferring nukes to Iran will have Mossad in Moscow poisoning his vodka.
Maybe, maybe not. Either way this whole situation is getting worse and worse.
The Chinese are demonstrating this "swarm" technique in the Pacific, harassing our Navy vessels.
A "swarm" of fighter jets can be stopped with tactical nuclear weapons, but a "swarm" of drones is a whole different matter.
Well, stay safe amigo. Regretfully I never visited Israel even though I spent about 20 years in the ME and N. Africa.
There are no Nazis in Ukraine... you’re welcome.
Which is exactly why Putin will want to prove something by its proxies, Hizbollah and Hamas. He’ll show those Jooos! what it is to stab their benefactor and friend Vladimir Putin in the back! So they’ll get some missiles, better than the crap they make from sewer pipes in Ghaza. OK. We can take it. But Jpost could have STFU and saved us all some grief.
Nazis: Invade smaller countries
Indiscriminately bombard civilian areas
Believe in the righteousness of doing so
Believe in the glorious destiny of their country, whatever that translates as in action
Confiscate the children of others to educate according to their beliefs
Somehow, the shoe doesn’t quite fit.
You are seriously mistaken
Putin has no proxies. Hamas and Hezbollah are Iranian surrogates and certainly not Russian.
Not a one.
“...for two crooked Slavic dumps.”
That’s it in a nutshell.
So he’ll find some group who’s on the outs with Iran. He’ll make them his proxy. Same difference. Bottom line is, he’ll want revenge on the Jooos!, and he’ll want to demonstrate that he’s still got it. Therefore, he will have a proxy, one way or another, to strike at the Jooos!. My fervent hope is that his underlings do him in and make it look like the Kremlin Flu. He’s no good even for Russia anymore, and that’s saying a lot.

Just let Mother Russia take Ukraine already and stop this nonsense.
“Israel supporting the “Nazis” in Ukraine?”
That intel not helping in the least bit.
Roughly around $50K suicide drones and drone swarm tactics are still taking out expensive tanks, mobile artillery and anti-aircraft assets, etc.
Why not? BTW, Russia didn’t do a thing in Ukraine Israel didn’t do in Palestine. And I am not talking as a fan of Palestine.
