Yeh. Vlad has got me thinking. I do feel I engage a little bit too much these days in attacking the man and not the message.

Telegram channels reporting major defeat of hohos in their latest attempts at attacks over past couple of days, rebellion in ranks, no rest or rotation since beginning of war, grief everywhere you look in hohostan. Intel-Slava:

🇷🇺 Iranian cargo planes continue to arrive in Russia.

Yesterday, a heavy transport aircraft Il-76 (EP-PUS) of the Iranian airline Pouya Air, affiliated with the IRGC, arrived at Vnukovo Airport from Tehran.

What he delivered to Moscow is unknown, but most likely a fresh batch of drones. 45.5Kviews 01:42

🇷🇺🇺🇦 The 128th Mountain Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine paid dearly for yesterday's attempt to attack. The situation is close to rebellion, they refuse to go forward.

Intel Slava Z
🇷🇺🇺🇦 The Washington Post reports on the state of the Ukrainian army

The Ukrainian military has been at the front for eight months now without rotation and rest, the shelling of Russian artillery and the news of new mobilization reserves of Russia are causing a drop in discipline among the units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine against the backdrop of a lack of people and resources.

The article says that many units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were overwhelmed by a wave of demoralization, as there were "too many losses."

Ukrainian soldiers believe that over time the situation at the front will only worsen, because soon the new Russian military reserves will receive the necessary combat experience, and winter cold will begin in Ukraine itself. Also, many are demoralized by the destruction of a thermal power plant in western Ukraine.

I hear that Iranians are in Ukraine, piloting the Iranian built drones. If true, another case of Putin using Muslims to fight against the Ukrainian Christians. What a disgrace.

Highly doubtful. That would require dozens of Iranian specialists and possibly hundreds of them when Russians decided to use the 2400 of the things just purchased. Much simpler to bring a few Iranian instructors in and train Russians to use them.

As soon as the drones arrived, they were used. This tells me Iranians were piloting them. You think they can train Russians this fast? Perhaps. Because the pilots/ both Russian and Iranian/ can be in a comfortable location in Russia. A thousand miles away from the drone action in Ukraine.

Hmmm, would the Iranian trainers be fluent Russian speakers, or would the trainees be Russians fluent in Farsi? Just how many are to be found with those qualifications among the limited ranks of drone pilots and technicians in the respective militaries? If not, then a multitude of translators must be found and assigned or drafted and the training course extended to deal with the inefficiency of translation.

In any event, the written manuals must be translated from Farsi to Russian and printed to cope with the language difficulties inherent in using gear with controls captioned in a foreign language. How long will that take?

It seems to me that if one were in a pinch for time, such as if combat was underway, the first resort would be to bring in lots of Iranian crews and pilots to use the drones against the Ukrainians while developing the necessary manuals and training for Russian drone pilots and crews. And I imagine that the Iranians will charge a lot of coin for such service.

Keep the drone operations securely within Russia, and no one can prove if Iranians or Russians are piloting these Iranian made drones being used in Ukraine.

Actually, all the drone pilots can be in Iran. With the Russian army’s function being to maintain them, protect their base, and release them. Like keeping homing pigeons.

Their hind legs, with vicious kicking, can be lethal. Their arms, not much at all.

How will it end? Likely with Putin dead or in ignominious and precarious exile, the Russian military and economy in collapse, a provisional government in power in Moscow suing for peace, and the Russian Federation struggling not to break apart. Or may be Putin goes soon enough to avert the parade of horribles now in store for Russia.

Do Russia and Iran have the highly secure software and gobbs of bandwidth on the battlefield to carry off such an operation? My guess is that US and NATO hackers and Ukrainian electronic countermeasures crews say otherwise.
