Top strategists in the Democratic Party fear Arizona Republican candidate for governor Kari Lake will be a rising star in national politics, including as a potential presidential candidate.
Lake, a political novice and former television news anchor, is locked in a tight race with Arizona's Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs for the state's open governor's seat.
Among the 'ultra MAGA' candidates who are close allies of Donald Trump and support his baseless claims that President Joe Biden lost the 2020 election, Lake is seen as among the likeliest to win in November.

Do you know who is going to be pissed about Lakes candidacy? The Election Industrial Complex. Kari has shown them candidates can do this without expensive advisors, pollsters, etc. they can’t let that happen.

Instead of refusing to concede Biden‘s win, I prefer refusing to accept the lie of the election being done honestly.

I can see why, the orchestrated it and can never say otherwise. However I wonder at what point voters start to wonder 'how could this guy have won? what if he hadn't' and start to waver to 'maybe he didn't'.
