Russia Has Already Lost the War and the Map of the World Is Being Redrawn Because of It
Pj media ^ | Rick Moran

Posted on 10/14/2022 7:09:44 PM PDT by NoLibZone

After the two world wars in the 20th century, mapmakers were kept busy redrawing boundaries. Empires disappeared, new countries were born, and power alliances shifted radically.

No matter what happens in Ukraine going forward, a weakened Russia cannot “win” in any conventional sense of the word. They may gain a little territory, but at such a horrific cost in money, men, and prestige that their status as a “superpower” will be questioned — even though their nuclear stockpile will (hopefully) remain intact.

A win is a win. Regardless of the cost to achieve it.

Long Jon No Silver obviously doesn't grasp the concept of a Pyrrhic victory.

A Pyrrhic victory is a victory that inflicts such a devastating toll on the victor that it is tantamount to defeat. Such a victory negates any true sense of achievement or damages long-term progress.

The phrase originates from a quote from Pyrrhus of Epirus, whose triumph against the Romans in the Battle of Asculum in 279 BC destroyed much of his forces, forcing the end of his campaign.

I understand what a pyrrhic victory is. What’s that got to do with the price of eggs?

>>>Odd how a super power is doing so poorly in a war. Either we have been lied to about their strength or Russia is pulling a rope-a-dope. I don’t believe any news reports anymore. We will know when it’s over.<<

I saw an interview with a Russian analyst. He explained that the Russian soldier is reluctant to kill Ukrainians. And that this war is much more like a civil war than a war between two different countries. Russia is having a hard time in treating the government of Ukraine as an enemy but not the population. And that is the reason Russia initially didn’t go in harder. However as you can see now things are changing. Russia had 4 armies each with their own commander being run out of Moscow. Now it’s a unified command with a general on the scene. And he has broad powers to do whatever is necessary. Russia’s 300,000 troop mobilization is almost complete. Those troops will mostly go elsewhere in Russia to free up active personnel to redeploy to Ukraine. And when the ground stops being mud and freezes solid, Russia will go in.

I have also heard other reports that Ukraine is mostly out of troops. They have been bled dry doing silly attacks against Russian positions where the kill ratio has been horrendous for Ukraine. I’ve watched interviews that state Polish troops are pretending to be Ukrainians and that Isis is supplying Ukraine men (for a price of course). If the well is dry on manpower, Ukraine can’t fight for much longer.

Zelensky keeps begging for help with money and weapons and sounding like a desperate, drowning man. U.S. taxpayer money is the only thing keeping Ukraine’s government from complete collapse. Zelensky does not sound like a man leading his country to victory.

America has no strategic interests in Ukraine. Nothing good can happen for the American people by our interference in Ukraine.

The USA has serious problems and needs to stop sending its money to Ukraine while our country is being deliberately destroyed by Leftists. Only corrupt American politicians have monetary interests in Ukraine via money laundering.

Notice American billions being sent to Ukraine are not being monitored once our dollars get dumped into that corrupt cesspool of a country.

I am very tired of the laughable propaganda about Russia losing in Ukraine. It is nonsense.

RE: That PJ Media is a joke.

Well, don’t stop there, please elaborate.
A one short sentence remark doesn’t educate.

The price of wheat, e.g., products made from wheat like bread in the supermarket went from between 10-14 cents a loaf to 25 cents. Nixon negotiated this deal to give the Soviet Union wheat as a part of the Viet Nam War draw down process; Ukrainaine wheat crops along those across the USSR had been hard hit for 5 prior to the “bail out”

PPP per person is more meaningful. USA is #8, Russia is #55. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_GDP_(PPP)_per_capita

I’ve been to Russia about a dozen times from 1992 to the 2000s. I was amazed how backwards it was on my first trip. I was amazed how modern it had become on my last trip.

If this is what losing looks like, what do we call what’s happening to the rest of Europe - and even the world?

The world is changing over to a new financial system based on reserve currencies. Its a little like watching sausage being made but in the end it will be a good thing.

Excellent point about the USSR’s purchase of US grain in the early 1970’s. Apparently the purchases took the Department of Agriculture by complete surprise.

“ I must say I though Russia would have sent in armor divisions and won the war in a week or so.”

In my humble opinion Putin was royally screwed by his buddy Xi.

Hooten was asked if he pretty please wait until the Olympics were over before invading Ukraine. China did not want the spotlight turned away from the glorious final ceremony.

Then General Mud had a say in things. Look it up if you haven’t heard of it before. Equipment not on hard roads sank to their axles or worse. They were sitting ducks. Tanks and heavy equipment were abandoned and later recovered by the Ukrainians. The forward momentum of their blitzkrieg literally got stuck in the mud.

Screw Soros, and that silly opinion. It is the people of Ukraine who have fought against the Russian aggression of Vladimir Putin.

Any corruption in the Ukrainian government is a moot point and has been since tanks rolled into Ukraine.
