We Will Not Be Intimidated by Russia's Nuclear Threats, NATO Tells Moscow

NATO will closely monitor Russia's upcoming nuclear exercise but not be cowed into dropping support for Ukraine by Moscow's veiled nuclear threats, the alliance's chief said on Thursday.

"We will not be intimidated," NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg told reporters after a two-day meeting of the alliance's defense ministers. "Russia's nuclear rhetoric is dangerous, reckless, and they know that if they use (a) nuclear weapon against Ukraine, it will have severe consequences."

The meeting was the first large NATO gathering since Moscow announced it would annex several Ukrainian territories, began a partial mobilization and issued veiled nuclear threats, moves NATO has classified as a clear escalation of the war that started when Russia invaded Ukraine on Feb. 24.

(snip)

Stoltenberg said NATO would monitor Russia's annual nuclear drills very closely, as it has done for decades, and remain vigilant "not least in light of the veiled nuclear threats and the dangerous rhetoric we have seen from the Russian side."

The NATO chief was apparently referring to Russia's annual Grom exercise that normally takes place in late October and in which Russia tests its nuclear-capable bombers, submarines and missiles.

Just how many nukes does Stoltenberg control as compared to Putin?

Make no mistake. Russia is well armed with tactical nuclear weapons. However they are not likely to be used against NATO. Russia is not able to conventionally defend its rich ,underpopulated Asian Pacific territories or Siberia from the Chinese. Right now the Russian and Chinese general staffs are war gaming “limited nuclear war”. Ukraine and Taiwan are sideshows when considering these big hard to defend prizes.

The only people continuing on with the nuclear rhetoric is....
The EU suicidal psychopaths, the dementia-ridden Depend’s wearing BidenIdiot, and the idiotic morons running the Pentagon and DoD. Strange huh? Not. The setting this shat up for a possible false flag is my wager.

The response was exactly correct. Imagine how absurd if we were intimidated by their threats?

Make no mistake. Russia is well armed with tactical nuclear weapons.

Are you sure they actually work though, considering how shoddy Russian maintenance on its equipment has proven to be. And when was the last time the Russians lit one off?

“Just how many nukes does Stoltenberg control as compared to Putin?”

How many troops and tanks did Russia have compared to Ukraine in February?

Does NATO have nuclear deterrence to Russia?

How many significant population centers are in Russia vs. NATO countries?

I’d say nuclear détente is established between NATO and Russia.

So, at this point - with Russian conventional forces eliminated Ukraine and/or NATO can just drive to Moscow in two days and dig the SOB out of his bunker.

If it would not be for the US most Ukrainians still would have a roof over their heads. Probably the eastern portion of the Ukraine which has a large portion of ethnic Russians and was constantly assaulted by radical groups would have been annexed by Russia and things eventually would have settled down. The same goes for Europe if they had not jumped on the US bandwagon. The US purposely damaged the gas supply lines making sure that Europe in general and Germany in particular remains dependent on the US like a colony, just in case they may come to their senses and change their mind.

Those days when Russia had any ideas of expansion are long gone and over with and things of the past. All they want is a quiet neighborhood without NATO or CIA manipulation and intervention. Just like the US likes to keep their backyard free of any intruders. But the warmongers within the US regime know that a peaceful coexistence is bad for the production of war materials, especially the military industrial complex as well as the globalists, cranking out wartime supplies like there is no tomorrow and if they keep it up there may not be one. So, they keep stirring the pot until it will boil over and it isn’t too far from doing just that.

“Russia’s nuclear rhetoric is dangerous, reckless, and they know that if they use (a) nuclear weapon against Ukraine, it will have severe consequences.”

What “severe consequences” can NATO inflict beyond the sanctions it has already instituted and its financing and arming the Ukraine proxy war against Russia? Europe is already divided over this, with Macron coming out and saying that even if Russia were to use tactical nukes against Ukraine, France will not respond as they have their own interests to consider. Putin just has to sit back and wait for Europe to unravel.

France will not trade nuclear strikes with Russia over Ukraine

https://www.thenationalnews.com/world/europe/2022/10/13/france-wont-retaliate-with-nuclear-weapons-if-russia-uses-them-in-ukraine/

If anything it’s NATO the one bluffing, not Putin.

Russia wants to be the Third Rome again

What the hard liners consider “Russia” goes quiet far east and west.

At some point, there will be a big conflict. It will happen. It doesn’t have to happen there.

You say this as you are defending a Russian invasion for expansion. Classic.

Nobody’s going to “trade nuclear strikes” with Russia over Ukraine.

However, I wouldn’t be surprised if suddenly Ukraine acquired missiles with a range to bombard Moscow.

NATO should go back to what it’s good at. Bombing 3rd world countries instead of staring trouble with countries with nukes.

Read up some history on Napoleon and Hitler.
They both tried that. How’d that end?
And Russia didn't even have nukes then.
Today, Russia has the biggest and most fearsome nuclear arsenal on the planet.
I'd like to see you try that lil ole “just drive to Moscow in two days” malarkey and see what happens to you.
Chuckle.

France needs a year to produce 10 SPGs, Germany a year to make 4 SHORADs. Raytheon is yet to replace munitions expended by Saudi Arabia years ago on Yemeni drones.
Russia makes hundreds of PGMs and 90 tanks per months.

There were Charles XII and Gengis Khan before Hitler and Napoleon and many other characters nobody remembers whose former countries make the fabric of the Russian Federation.
