NBC reporter Dasha Burns recently sat down with Democratic U.S. Senate hopeful and Pennsylvania Lt. Governor John Fetterman for an interview and revealed how damage from a stroke continues to greatly affect his ability to speak and understand questions.
Fetterman has been largely absent from the campaign trail and rejected a number of invitations from Republican opponent Dr. Mehmet Oz to debate. Fetterman finally agreed to a debate in two weeks only after early voting is well underway.

He can still retain function in his motor skills and retain his cognitive skills. People do it all the time. Should Fetterman be elected then his ability to function as a sitting senator couldn't be any worse than ones like Diane Feinstein, Chuck Grassley, Hershel Walker, or most other sitting senators.

What if this is all a reflection of a serious mental fear issue causing John Fetterman to risk his life for nothing? Ability to make sane decisions is part of governing... the press should at least ask.

He had significant brain damage from his stroke that likely at this point will not get significantly better. AND, we don’t even know of other brain damage that may have occurred.

Because they don't want Fetterman to admit that after the election he will get surgery and he expects at least a 6-12 month recovery where he will need to stay home and not work. He's good at not working, in between his lunatic ideas.

We shouldn’t make him an object of pity. The mush-brained would vote for him just to show how empathetic and woke they are.
His nutty positions on crime, promotion of drug use, and his failure as mayor of Braddock should be front and center in the campaign, not his brain lapses.
I’ve seen how those captioning things work during Zoom presentations. They are lousy. They can’t transcribe words accurately.
Oz speaks fast, he barrels along like a freight train. No way Fetterman or any machine can keep up with him.
Any debate should be a train wreck for Fetterman. Oz should insist that he be given the opportunity to question Fetterman.
