WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii announced Tuesday that she's leaving the Democratic Party because it's "now under the complete control of an elitist cabal of warmongers driven by cowardly wokeness."
In a video statement posted on social media, Gabbard, 41, accused Democrats of dividing the country "by racializing every issue, stoking anti-white racism" and "actively working to undermine our God-given freedoms enshrined in our Constitution."
"The Democrats of today are hostile to people of faith and spirituality," she continued. "They demonize the police and protect criminals at the expense of law-abiding Americans. The Democrats of today believe in open borders and weaponize the national security state to go after political opponents. Above all else, the Democrats of today are dragging us ever closer to nuclear war."

It is a simple divisionist concept. A divided house is easily felled. Our Republic is done when people of non moral’s are a majority. God removed is satan implanted....that simple.
She can win as an independent.

She was my own Congressional Representative for 6 or 8 yrs. I am can’t remember. I had to vote for HI CD-2 every two yrs . I voted for her a few times, other times not. Tulsi was the only Democrat I ever voted for , after I became more ed politically enlightened,after 9/11/2001. I had been very disappointed with the way she behaved at several points during g Trump’s Presidency, but I was also thrilled at the way she boldly attacked Clinton ,Obama,and finallyKamala Harris. I have really enjoyed the way she has let go on Biden and all his bullshit.So this latest , something I have requested from her for years, is most pleasing and satisfying
It was only a matter of time. She did not fit the Democrat Party as it stands today. She is way to reasonable on many issues.
She had/has my vote - even if she stayed a Democrat.
But this is a good move.
She has more in common with Josh Hawley than she does with Mitch McConnell. Trump should select her as VP. I would have no problem voting for her for President.
