In light of recent massive Russian missile strikes across Ukrainian cities, it is no longer possible to negotiate with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, German MP and Chairman of the Bundestag Defense Committee Marie-Agnes Strack-Zimmermann told German newspaper die Welt on Oct.11.
“You cannot negotiate with Russia under the regime of Putin and his followers,” Strack-Zimmermann said.

When you have neither side willing to negotiate, one side has to destroy the other to end the conflict.
There was, apparently, a settlement plan in March that might have ended the fight but Boris Johnson (then UK prime minister) urinated on it and demanded Ukraine “fight to the death.”

No, negotiations between the two are difficult, but not impossible.
There are two main problems. One, neither side trusts the other to abide by any treaty. Two, the West wants only to negotiate with Putin’s successor.
