Russian governors threaten missile attacks on Ukraine's 'big cities' in a 'desire to seek revenge' for the Crimea bridge explosion as top Putin propagandist calls for total war and return to brutal Stalinist-era operations

Top Putin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov called for total war against Ukraine following Crimea bridge blast He also demanded a return to Stalinist-era counterintelligence operations to root out internal opposition

Crimea's governor spoke of a 'healthy desire for revenge' while another official warned of rocket attacks The deputy governor of Stavropol told Ukrainians 'leave your cities' as he threatened Sarmat missile strikes Russia's deputy PM meanwhile deployed divers to inspect bridge foundations and search for more evidence Some Western intelligence officials fear Putin will raise new hell in neighbouring country amid humiliation

Rocket attacks killed more than a dozen people in the territory of Zaporizhzhia late last night and early today Putin previously said that any attack on the bridge connecting Crimea to Russia would prompt 'judgment day'

Top pro-Kremlin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov is demanding a brutal Stalinist response to 'plunge Ukraine into dark times' and round up all Russians against total war in the wake of the humiliating hit on the Crimean Bridge.

Alluding to an enemy within, Solovyov called for a return of the notorious Stalin-era SMERSH counter-intelligence to crush all internal opposition to a full-scale war against Ukraine.

SMERSH, whose motto was 'Death to Spies', was a conglomeration of counterintelligence agencies used by Stalin to root out and obliterate those trying to subvert his regime during and after World War II.

'It's time to remember Soviet military training and act decisively and creatively,' Solovyov said.

'Not responding to the enemy's actions, but breaking their plans, striking unexpected blows in directions where the enemy is not expecting them.

Uke Kamikaze drones, 30 sec over the Kremlin, might wake up a few.

Coming soon, right after the special military op turns into an anti-terrorist operation. That’s when Uke leaders and infrastructure become targets.

“Top Putin propagandist Vladimir Solovyov called for total war against Ukraine...”

Puts me in mind of “Top Hitler propagandist Joseph Goebbels called for total war against the allies” at the Berlin Sportpalast in February, 1943. It was enthusiastically received by his audience. Didn’t work out quite how he thought it would.

Why not attack supply lines? They were doing well taking out Ukrainian rail hubs a couple months ago. More of that would make sense.

Electrical transmission nodes as well. Russia claims to have wonder weapons — use those.

Ukrainians and Russians are schoolyard rivals trying to out macho each other on an ego trip. One will punch, then they’ll trip each other and bite each other.

But it’s with lives of the people of the world at stake if they each escalate the nuclear posturing and neither will back down.

Sick stuff.

I have wondered why Russia has not attacked Ukrainian transportation hubs, transmission towers, communications centers, troop concentrations, etc. before. They certainly have the capability to have destroyed all of these, yet have not. Yet.

When military experts are planning a war, those important means for the enemy to communicate, travel, etc. are taken out with devastating air and missile barrages before the first troops enter battle. But Russia did not. Why????

Same tit for tat back and forth since the beginning. This is how wars go and people die.

Because Putin does not want his legacy to be a POS like Hitler’s. Putin fancies himself as a benevolent Tsar.

Evidently Putin is afraid of Biden’s wrath.

The US can’t supply ATACMs to Ukraine but Romania, Poland and Turkey can as they made no such agreement. ATACMs can reach Moscow from the NE of Ukraine. Maybe take out some television studios. The propaganda tower has already been taken out.

They haven’t dropped anything like the U.S did in Bush’s war. Or anything like what was dropped on Laos and the Ho Chi Minh trail. Haven’t seen agent Orange yet or napalm.

Russian social media is lit up with “get tough” talk. Zelensky was correct when he said that Russia was preparing its people for nuclear strikes. Russian social media is led around by pro-Putin propagandists.

Even back in 2018, Putin got laughs showing his Russian audience their missile developments and an impact on an outline map of Florida. Fox News’ Chris Wallace asked him about the jumbotron vid, and he said, “It was not labeled Florida.” Naturally Chris was timid in the follow up questions. At the time Trump was president with his well-known Florida estate.
