In a hypothetical matchup between former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden for the 2024 presidential election, an Emerson poll revealed that Iowa voters favored Trump over Biden by 8 points.
The poll indicates 47% of voters would support Trump, compared to 39% who would support Biden in 2024. The poll also mentions that for 38% of voters, the FBI's raid on Mar-a-Lago would not affect their support of Trump in 2024. But 34% said the raid makes them more likely to support the former president, and 28% said it makes them less likely to do so.
Most Iowa voters, 56%, disapprove of Biden's job performance, while 34% support it; 10% are neutral.
Regarding issues, 45% of Iowa voters say the economy is the most important issue; following behind that are threats to democracy at 17%, abortion access at 12%, healthcare at 7%, and immigration at 7%.
"Voters who say the economy is their most important issue break for Republican [Sen. Chuck] Grassley [of Iowa] by 61 points, and for Republican [incumbent Gov. Kim] Reynolds by 69 points. By contrast, those who say threats to democracy are their most important issue break for [Democratic Senate candidate Michael] Franken by 57 points and [Iowa gubernatorial Democratic candidate Deidre] DeJear by 50 points," Emerson College Polling Executive Director Spencer Kimball said.
Regarding the midterms, for the Senate, Grassley holds an 11-point lead over Franken, 49% to 38%. For the gubernatorial race, 53% of Iowans support Reynolds, compared to 36% who support DeJear.
The poll was conducted Oct. 2 to 4. The sample consisted of 959 likely Iowan voters. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.1%.

Everyone knows if Trump goes up against demented Biden, Trump wins. That’s why these Democrat screw worms have to cheat. Anyone capable of critical thought knows damn well Biden never beat Trump and never could.
And given Biden’s performance in the past 1.5 years, in a fair election, he would never stand a chance against Trump and it would be a historic blow out win for Trump.
Finally some reality.
And there are probably some shy Trump voters in there not represented in the polling numbers. Trump wins by double digits.

As much as I appreciate the result, this is a pointless poll. There’s not a snowball’s chance in hell that Biden is the ‘24 Dem nominee. He’ll bow out after the first of the year to make way for a Dem primary field to amass. They’ll humor Kamala by letting her run, but probably pay her off at some point to exit the field in favor of Gavin Newsom or someone else they think has a better shot.
I hope they push the faggot.

Polls never take the reality of Dominion vote changers into consideration.
The pressure on Biden to step aside (well, not run again) will be great after the mid-terms, and from his own party. All these other candidates will have to start funraising and planning their campaigns, and going against a sitting president would be deadly for their party. That being said, I don’t think Trump is the candidate either.
A TV dinner would poll higher than that creature installed in the WH.
Democrats are banking on abortion and J6 to carry them to victory in the midterms. This poll should be discouraging news for them.

He already looks much more tired and raspy than 2015. It is not like he is immortal. Not only that...if he won, he would be locked into one term, so basically a lame duck from day one.
