The pressure on Biden to step aside (well, not run again) will be great after the mid-terms, and from his own party. All these other candidates will have to start funraising and planning their campaigns, and going against a sitting president would be deadly for their party. That being said, I don’t think Trump is the candidate either.

I disagree. I love Trump, but he will be 78. When he ran in 2016 he was running against a bunch of Deep State has-beens and chumps. Desantis has a great record, will be the youthful candidate, and can stand up to Trumps ridicule.
