Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Friday that Russia has begun to prepare its people for the possibility of the use of nuclear weapons against Ukraine.
“They begin to prepare their society. That’s very dangerous,” Zelensky said.

Unfortunately, when nukes start popping off, we're all going to feel it.
And as long as Russia keeps getting humiliated on the battlefield, the chances of this happening increase --because Putin isn't going to lose this war. At the very least, he's not going to lose Crimea and the Donbas. Not until he's played every card in his hand.
I expect we'll see tactical nukes in the near future.
What then will happen?
At a minimum, the Eurozone economy will totally collapse. No bank will loan anything to Europe. Here in America, we'll see panic runs on the grocery stores emptying shelves.
It's going to get ugly.
Western leadership has mandated that we WILL give a quarter of a shit about Ukraine! There is nobody in any position of leadership talking about a ceasefire or any peaceful solution. Ninety-nine year old Henry Kissinger and Elon Musk are the only ones. Nuclear war, it seems is destined.

Don't worry though. Numerous educated FReepers have assured us that none of Russia's nukes will work and that we'll be able to completely neutralize their strike capabilities within a couple of minutes.
Personally, I have my doubts on both of these claims.
I have a feeling that at least some of their nukes will work and some of our interception efforts will not.
And really, only about ten of them need to hit home to completely obliterate Western economies.
Marxist Biden has been partnering with KGB Putin to nuke up Death to America Iran. If we surrender to Russia’s nuclear blackmail you can bet the Iranians and Chicoms will follow up with those tactics.
I’m thinking a lot of them work, and I don’t want to find out over some crooked non ally.
I expect we’ll see tactical nukes in the near future.
