Billionaire Elon Musk, days after floating a possible deal to end the war between Russia and Ukraine that drew condemnation in Ukraine, suggested that tensions between China and Taiwan could be resolved by handing over some control of Taiwan to Beijing...The Shanghai factory accounted for about half of Tesla's global deliveries last year. Musk also said China has sought assurances that he would not offer the Starlink internet service of his SpaceX rocket company there.

Ping to more Musky fun.
Musk is becoming like bill gates now, too big for his britches.
Contrary to what some anti-American people have been saying, globalists don’t like wars. They want peace at any price, including the price of your freedoms, your nation’s sovereignty, and your lives.
Is this from The Onion?
the “deal” is dumb, because Taiwan gets nothing out of it, China gets everything
or is Elon Musk just trying to appease every dictator now?
Musk apparently learned nothing from the ccp hong kong takeover.
Musk must have been the guy who brought peace to Rhodesia and South Africa.
I have more courage than the richest man in the world.
That’ll put a smile on my face when I go to sleep.
“suggested that tensions between China and Taiwan could be resolved by handing over some control of Taiwan to Beijing.”
If true he’s an idiot.
The Russian army is taking advantage of the Starlink shutdown now.

@AdamKinzinger
Evidently the Starlink system is down over the front lines of Ukraine.
@elonmusk
should make a statement about this, or, this should be investigated. This is a national security issue

The U.S doesn’t even recognise Taiwan independence nor sovereignty.
When it comes to politics, Musk is best being on the sidelines and not pretending to be a player on the field. Pick one or the other, both never works.
Can’t he just buy China or something?
There is no resolution there.
He’s beginning to remind me of Theo de Raadt, also from South Africa (founder of OpenBSD). He wormed his way into some work related to U.S. defense then came out as anti-American—especially very anti-defense.
“ China gets everything”
That’s the whole point. Musk is heavily invested in China and he has to keep his CCP masters happy.
Musk for brains!
As in Mush for brains.
How anyone sees this guy as brilliant is baffling.
He got a lot of funding and hired some bright people, then takes all credit for himself.
Not the first and won’t be the last to do that.
He is back on my list of despicable attention whores.
I have a counter proposal that is just as likely.
Taiwan takes control of all of China.
At least my proposal would lead to a happier, stable, and free China.
