“So, a Democrat was in the White House then, too, the last time the world was in this much danger.“

WHAT a coincidence!!!!

Isn’t it funny how every time a Republican becomes President, the lefties ALL accuse him of “wanting” to start a nuclear World War III…

Yet when a democrat President CAUSES such things by their own idiocy, the threat of war is just something that happens to them…

And half the population doesn’t see this for what it is.

I am currently reading The Passage of Power, The Years of Lyndon Johnson and I happen to be at the very beginning of our involvement in Vietnam. It is sickening to follow the author as he lays out the cynical, lying and selfish personal and political motivations and manipulations of Lyndon Johnson leading us into a war that killed over 50,000 of my generation.

It took us at least a generation to learn that the Kennedys, especially Robert Kennedy, were secretly trying to assassinate Fidel Castro in a series of fiascoes culminating in the Cuban missile crisis which nearly blew up the world.

I do not pretend to know the truth of what George W Bush knew about the existence of weapons of mass destruction in Iraq but I do know that most of the world believes that he lied. Lying or stupid, George Bush sucked us into a war that weakened America and, I am ashamed to admit, sucked me in too.

The blootyminded, cosmic stupidity of Biden enabled by an utterly Craven bevy of generals produced a predictable (and predicted) humiliation in Afghanistan.

Every government makes mistakes, every politician makes cynical and selfish mistakes, the question is whether a constitutional system and a representative democracy is robust and vigorous enough to limit the mistakes so that the Republic survives? I say that so that I do not sound like American Marxists who want to destroy the Republic as well as the Constitution and are happy to deplore American history to do it.

Nevertheless, is there anything in Joe Biden's biography that leads one to any conclusion other than the man is a preposterous liar of accelerating decrepitude?

We are losing confidence in ourselves and our vital institutions as we peer into the nuclear abyss.

“I smell a false flag coming... This is set up propaganda for one right here.“

Exactly!!! Yep, the smell is familiar and OH, so very strong.

Say… aren’t their some kind of elections coming up in less than a month?…

My knowledge of the origin of the Cuban missile crisis is that it was instigated by the United States moving missiles into Turkey.

The USSR countered by moving missiles into Cuba.

The crisis was resolved by the United States removing the weapons from Turkey and the USSR removing the weapons from Cuba.

“I believe Putin really aims to control all European energy: gas/oil/nuclear power plants.”

This is an extension of Putin’s pattern of “Transnistrian” policy for Power & control.

He will be a dictator to every nation seeking energy suct like Bill Gates wil take control of farms & food production.

You know, Freepers really can have such positive dialogue. Each of us may have differing viewpoints but we are united in what we believe in: Freepers love their country & their Freedom. FR needs to once again be a think -tank and less of a cess pool of labeling & name-calling.

Biden desperately needs a war, in the hopes that it’ll make him look strong and caring.

Yes, my point exactly.

“Biden warns the world is facing the prospect of ARMAGEDDON for the first time since the Cuban missile crisis”

“So, a Democrat was in the White House then, too, the last time the world was in this much danger.”

You mean.. That time when We (the US) put a whole bunch of missiles in Turkey? And the Russians did not like that. So retaliated by putting missiles in Cuba?

Then we agreed to pull our missiles, The Russians pulled theirs. And our press made JFK look like a GOD who “faced down the Russians?”

That Cuban missile crisis?

Your idea is so outlandish, is doesn’t deserve serious discussion.
Russia can barely hold the eastern front. There’s zero chance they would get near Western Europe.

I do agree things have devolved here, and it’s affecting everyone.(myself included)
By either staying away or becoming part of the angry binary thought process.
I wish this many threads addressed our domestic issues.
I don’t care if Russia and Ukraine destroy each other.

Thank you for the research, Travis. Awesome stuff!

After seeing this and also having heard Plugs THREATEN the existence of Nordstream publicly (Nobody else ever has), it boggles the mind when people say - “We don’t know who did it and we may never know…”

The evidence is there. 2+2 still equals 4.
