Former US President Donald Trump’s lawyers asked the Supreme Court on Tuesday to intervene in the Mar-a-Lago documents-seizure case, saying the special master appointed in the matter should be allowed to review the sensitive materials, The Washington Post reports.
The filing came after a unanimous three-judge panel of the US Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit granted the Justice Department’s request to keep about 100 classified documents separate from the special master’s review.
In the ruling last month, the panel — two judges nominated by Trump and one by President Barack Obama — rejected Trump’s argument that the classified documents seized on August 8 might be his property, rather than the government’s.
The appeals court also blocked an earlier order by US District Judge Aileen M. Cannon that the special master review the documents to see if they should be shielded from investigators because of executive or attorney-client privilege.
Trump’s filing seeks only to reverse the appeals court’s ruling on the special master’s access to the documents, not the part of the decision concerning the investigation.

I wonder what level of clearance the Special Master has. They may be withholding documents from him because he doesn’t have the tickets.
Makes no sense...that's what this whole bogus bs is supposedly about. What are these supposedly super secret sensitive documents and how come nobody gets to say or hint what they are besides the government?
The question is, what are these supposedly super secret sensitive documents that is okay for the domestic FBI to see, but nobody else?
If they really are "super secret sensitive documents," that sounds like foreign-intelligence CIA territory, not FBI territory.
My money is betting that these documents are damaging to the FBI and nobody else, which is why the FBI is keeping them from the Special Master who would otherwise have the clearance to see them.

Yep! Good luck with the SC! Don’t even waste your breath President Trump, just look at the way they ruled against the second amendment on Monday. That should be an eye-opener for everyone. The hell with the constitution! Justice and fairness in the rule of law is dead in the US. It no longer exists!…. we are presently living in a pre-Germany era. Not only will the demonic Nazi rats blatantly cheat in November they will carter us off to the nearest gulags in railroad box trains! You think that’s a joke think again my friends!
What happens when he runs out of options in this pre-Nazi Germany era we are living in at the present? Just like Steve Bannon, the J6 prisoners and Jones they are not allowed to present their case you’re guilty before even entering your case! We are no longer living in the United States 20 years ago where everyone had a fair chance presenting their case before a just court! The evil fbi and doj will swat and burglarized your home and take everything they can get their hands on without any accountability. And to top it off the majority of the corrupt legal courts are defending what the DOJ and the FBI have been doing especially against this former president that had the legal right to declassified any document he wanted!
Now you tell me where is the fairness in at all? Sure you can get knocked down 100 times and get up but eventually this body gets tired and can’t get up and fight any longer. The spirit of the fight leaves you and you incur nothing but medical problems. If they can bring Trump down and be victorious then their next aim is for us the conservatives
When Trump is ready to throw in the towel, he’ll let us know. He doesn’t need you or me to tell him not to get up. Their aim may well be to ruin him, but I think it may well work the other way around, provided we all keep fighting alongside him, any way we can. Telling him to give up is not that.
Movies like Rocky are successful because they strike a chord in our souls. They are more real than the “realsville” that you are so keen on Trump surrendering to. You want to give up, be my guest. But don’t expect to spread it around this forum and not be called out on it, and don’t expect Trump to take your advice.
A word about the “poor house”. It’s not the end of the world, unless you accept it as such.
I agree…being poor, which I assume we both know too well is not the end …you’re absolutely correct! I would be the last person in this earth to advice him to throw in the white boxing towel in the ring…but every human being has its limits. And by gosh I will fight along with him I will pray for him I will go to any rally, I will vote for him etc. etc. All I’m saying is that I pray to God that He intervenes and vindicates this poor man and restore everything the enemy has stolen from him.🙏🏻
What I want to know is that if the government knows that there are 20 so-called classified documents in the haul they took then why do they need all the other ones still?

I do, too. But even if he must go down, I also pray that he goes down fighting ‘til the end. That’s how people become symbols instead of mere people with limits, and that inspires others to do the same, and that’s why tyrants always fail.
