Russia-Ukraine War: A train operated by the country's nuclear programme was seen in central Russia over the weekend, the report said. A Russian convoy transporting equipment for Moscow's nuclear weapons programme was reportedly on the move, the Telegraph said. Vladimir Putin could be preparing a nuclear test to send a “signal to the West” amid Ukraine war, the report said.
A train operated by the country's nuclear programme was seen in central Russia over the weekend, the report said adding that it was heading towards the front line in Ukraine. The train is said to be linked to the 12th main directorate of the Russian ministry of defence. The image of the freight convoy with personnel carriers and other equipment was shared by Telegram channel Rybar. This comes as The Times reported that NATO had sent an intelligence warning to its members and allies that Russia could test its nuclear-capable torpedo drone Poseidon also called the “weapon of the apocalypse”, possibly in the Black Sea. Russia is on the backfoot in its February invasion of Ukraine as it suffered a series of embarrassing defeats on the battlefield which include the loss of Lyman in Donetsk and setbacks in Ukraine's south.

I hope he would have been right. That is why he withdrew from the NATO (American) integrated nuclear command. He went with an independent French nuclear retaliatory capability, his force de frappe. Reagan’s missiles served as the trip wire meant to guarantee an immediate nuclear escalation. It’s the same concept. The Russians announced similar moves for the Finnish border shortly after their NATO admission.
One well placed Turkish drone and Putin will lose and be replaced same day.
The Russians are not going to nuke the Ukraine — they think the Ukraine is part of Russia.
I don’t care about Ukraine. The Russian nukes in Russia (Ukraine last week) are the trip wire. The missiles, initially, are hopefully aimed at only NATO military targets. Although that really doesn’t matter as it would quickly escalate into a general exchange. You should read Herman Kahn’s On Escalation. What the hell? Forget reading On Escalation, you’ve watched it play out to the near bitter end.
There is zero chance of nuclear war, imo.
Bur if the world does end in radioactive fire, you can say you told me so.
Plus the nuclear fallout would blow right into Russia.

I looked at these reports, I think this has to do with the Ukraine nuclear plant....they are going to do something to it and these people and equipment are for that operation and not to launch tactical nukes.
Good luck with that. There are four generations of kit in Zaporizhzhia NPP, only the oldest was constructed entirely within the Soviet Union. All six reactors had safety systems from commercial providers installed years ago.
And the last reactor setup was constructed with no legacy Soviet resources and minimal Russian supply chain reliance.
Unless Russia is looking to make massive downgrades it’s not clear why they’d mess about with any of the systems at any Ukrainian NPP.
Why would the Russians want to waste their nukes on our cities when our cities are already doing a fine job of self-destructing on their own?
I am sure there are ways to have and accident to contaminate all the food in Ukraine. I think Putin is implementing the spoiled earth strategy used in WWII, history repeats.
These movements confirm that Putin blew up Nordstream pipeline.
They won’t blow it up. They will shut it down. And then make it almost impossible to restart. There is a benefit to Russia by turning it off. Russia doesn’t win by creating a radioactive cloud.
