Retreating Russians leave their comrades’ bodies behind

Russian troops abandoned a key Ukrainian city so rapidly that they left the bodies of their comrades in the streets, offering more evidence Tuesday of Moscow’s latest military defeat as it struggles to hang on to four regions of Ukraine that it illegally annexed last week.

(snip)

Over the weekend, Russian troops pulled back from Lyman, a strategic eastern town that the Russians had used as a logistics and transport hub, to avoid being encircled by Ukrainian forces. The town’s liberation gave Ukraine an important vantage point for pressing its offensive deeper into Russian-held territories.

Two days later, an Associated Press team reporting from Lyman saw at least 18 bodies of Russian soldiers still on the ground. The Ukrainian military appeared to have collected the bodies of their comrades after fierce battles for control of the town, but they did not immediately remove those of the Russians.

“We fight for our land, for our children, so that our people can live better, but all this comes at a very high price,” said a Ukrainian soldier who goes by the nom de guerre Rud.

The Russians fled so fast that they didn't have time to cremate the bodies in their mobile incinerators.

Putin is not going to just throw up his hands and walk away, as many believe he will. Backing him into a corner might be the biggest mistake mankind has ever made.

Remember early on there was much ado about how Ivan would cremate all his bodies in truck mounted furnaces? The only pic ever found of an oven was big enough to make a couple pizzas in?

Don’t you get tired of of seemingly obligatory denunciation of the source of all articles? It doesn’t seem to mater what the source is, except maybe Tass or Pravda.ru, one of these guys guys will enter a comment ‘Oh, sure, the New York Times (or Associated Press or whoever)’.

As more evidence comes out in regard to the Nord pipeline sabotage, it appears Biden admin nutjobs are likely culprits.

Does anyone for a moment think Putin will not in some way retaliate for this? If it was America and or a proxy responsible, wouldn’t Russia see it as an act of war?

Highly doubt Putin would attack America directly, but he would however seeks ways to hurt the American economy.

Might not be a bad idea to put back a few groceries, candles, $$$.

Every photo you have posted in your holier-then-thou propaganda campaign is fake, staged and fodder for small minds.

Even videos don’t always show the truth. The George Floyd video for example.

Appeasers insist that Ukraine must offer Putin an “off-ramp.” Here it is:

The sad part is, many of these Russian troops likely never wanted to be in this tragic debacle. So many young lives wasted.

So were 7 months into this operation of what was originally thought to be a simple, easy, quick and decisive victory for the Red Army.

To say it’s highly embarrassing to Putin’s ego and Russia doesn’t even begin to describe this.

Will there be a peace deal to negotiate an end with Germany or the US being the moderator?

Or will Putin up the ante with more airstrikes, more SAM’s, more bombs? Possibly using tactical nukes?

Meanwhile, the Middle East or East Asia could light up any second.

We are really in a bad and terrible situation geopolitically speaking.

No, electing Biden for POTUS will be the end of mankind.

Second biggest mistake is for US Congress to do nothing about the biggest mistake.

Third biggest mistake is to allow Biden to destroy America’s Oil&Gas industry. There won’t be any progress from now on. Progress is change. Change requires energy and the proposed clean energy is not enough to support the needed change.

This Congress will be known as the Armageddon Congress. The diabolicrats own this mess.

What's you're point? Both Russian sources, Rybar, and Ukrainian sources, Reddit, are both saying Russians are retreating and taking losses.
