It probably won’t last for ten minutes after the balloon goes up.

‘a drone equipped with a nuclear bomb that Russia has claimed is capable of creating a “radioactive tsunami,”’
Since it was produced after the Soviet era, I think there’s probably an even money chance the thing won’t work.

Very cool! Can I pick which ‘rat-infested coastal area to tsunami?
I wonder if they have more than one drone, ‘cause it’s gonna be tough to decide. Portland, OR? THe SanFranCrisco Gay Area? Dee Cee? Decisions, decisions...

“Disappears” — yeah, right. We have no submarine detection capability. We’ve lost it.

The drone can be deployed from the submarine at any time and detonated at a depth of 1 kilometer near a coastal city. Russian state media has claimed the device can create a 1,600-ft. wave that smashes into the coast and irradiates it. What's the point of that, rather than a simple airburst over the middle of the city? Do they think we wouldn't treat it as a nuclear attack if it's detonated underwater?

US media, and its discourse on Russia, increasingly remind me of an Austin Powers movie.

And we just now realized this? This is propaganda to scare us from russia. They don’t need to do crap like this to scare us...just tell the truth.

I don’t know if it’s this particular submarine. But I heard that a Russian sub recently went aground off the New England coast.

I am sure there are eyes on it from just about every direction.
Would be a shame if something bad happened to that sub.

On my BS meter, this is a ‘7’.
To: EBH
Its 50/50 with Russian subs as to whether they are on attack patrol or sunk in the harbor.

Russian state media has claimed the device can create a 1,600-ft. wave that smashes into the coast If the Rooskies were patient, glo-bull warming caused sea rise will take care of things.
