The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has charged at least 10 people it says are connected to an elaborate $1.3 million fraud and identity theft USPS scheme that started around December 2018 and has lasted up until the present. Three of the suspects who were said to have been involved in the crimes, which include fraud and identity theft, were employed by the United States Postal Service (USPS).
The post office delivers probably 5,000 tons of unwanted junk mail every day. And they keep raising the rates...
Spit*
I have more respect for someone robbing a liquor store at gunpoint than these identity thieves who want to remain anonymous. At least the store robber is putting it on the line, in person.
You mentioned Capitol One. They have used Samuel Jackson, Alex Baldwin and Jimmy Fallon as spokesman. I get their mailings regularly and discard them.
Yep, that was enough for me to never even consider their card.
I wonder if this is the group behind the last 4 months of card charges I have been getting. A couple huge charges in the $5000 range at Hermes and another at Niemen Marcus. And then dozens a month for fake uber door dash and netflix charges. I am, however, the USPS bothers investigating itself when their employees do this. Most of the time it is just undocumented reparations.
The names usually give it away. In this case... I would think it is safe to assume “Devon” is a victim of white supremacy and had no choice but to seek undocumented reparations by stealing credit card info to buy Dior fashion accessories.
OK, Next show us how they do our Ballots.
So, should I bother to look?🙄
No pics...................🤷♂️
Just received a new credit Card in the mail. totally different method of sending through the mail. Nothing on the envelope indicated it contained a new card. Very nearly threw it in the trash but I felt the card through the envelope and opened it.
