Yes, he demonized his opponents, crushed dissent, and built a really good highway. Why, he's just like Joe Biden without the senility./s

This teacher is either amazingly stupid or an anti-Semite. Or both.

Even Vicki Kim, the school president supported having Hitlers picture displayed in her classroom as a sign of admiration. There’s something deeply wrong at that school. This is only one symptom.

Yeah - Hitler, Stalin, Mao: all strong leaders. All mass murderers.

He did have leadership qualities, but the “bad things” he “may have done” pretty much cancel them out.

His photo could still be posted and he could still be discussed as an example of the dark side of leadership. There is as much or more of that in the world as there is good leadership, even as we live and breathe.

The teacher’s lame explanation seems to indicate she is not quite up to teaching that.

Ironically, tell her liberals think Trump is like Hitler and she will take it down.

Snip:

“The student's father called the principal - Vicki Kim - to complain of the photo,” the group tweeted. “Rather than simply having Hitler's photo removed, Principal Kim instead decided to remove the Jewish child who made the original request/complaint!”

Besides his leadership qualities, Hitler should be celebrated for his contributions to a green environment. His accomplishments in the field of population management include reducing the world’s population by about 50 million. He also oversaw extensive urban redevelopment projects in cities such as Warsaw, Rotterdam, London and Coventry. These successes undoubtedly lowered Europe’s carbon footprint and significantly improved the environment. So Hitler should be hailed as an environmentalist hero,

He rallied his country and gave us the VW bug. Doesn’t mean he didn’t do evil but I thought we weren’t being simplistic and not white washing history anymore?

Fascism and eugenics were not uncommon in the early twentieth century. The echoes of both are still with us and the impulses exist in Democrat politics.

Earlier this year I saw a holocaust exhibit that didn’t mention gays (pink triangles) sent to camps. I found that surprising. It focused on Jews experiences. I noticed mention of Gypsies once.

Hitler and fascism have lost meaning with every modern Republican president demonized as both no matter how disconnected the notion.

I suppose it depends on what “positive” means, but given the fact that he took power at the beginning of a post-depression economic recovery (and took undeserved credit for it) and left his country a shattered ruin, starving and parceled out among its enemies twelve years later, I’m going to have to call that one tilting a teeny bit into the overall negative. Interesting guy, though - a genius at accreting power and a disaster at employing it, like many prominent despots including a few third-raters currently stinking up Washington DC.
