THere was a pretty good article at Zerohedge making the case Putin hs been ropadoping the West. Basically it made the case he waged teh war so far with old equipment, and peripheral troops, hitting just hard enough to get NATO to blow all its supplies against these forces. Now, Ukraine has supposedly spent most of the short-rang HIMAR rockets, which is why we ended up giving them some of the longer range ones recently. And we just promised them something like 15 or 20 more HIMARS units. But unsaid is, they have to be made, and that will take a year. Most likely they will be used to replenish our arsenals, which are getting depleted.

The article went into more details. Ukraine blew through its artillery, we supplied it with high grade artillery, but now they have expended that, and are using third-tier artillery which lacks the range they need.

So now, as the West is running out of arms to ship, Putin has only lost local irregulars and some Chechens and Mongols. He saved his air-power, he has the full Russian military, and Ukraine will more or less not have NATO support.

The only option will be, do we want to send our full military in. I can’t iagine Biden would go with that, surely nobody here wants to see Americans die for Ukraine. I didn’t even want to waste the billions we have wasted. It is not our country, or our people, and all we have done is draw it out, and kill a lot of good young men on both sides.

My guess is, in a year it will be the same outcome as if we had given Ukraine to Putin, only you will have, collectively, 100,000 good young guys killed.

Of course I am sure our defense industry loves this, and Biden is probably getting his standard 10% for the big guy. They say Zelensky is worth $2 billion now.

Where do people get this conscript stuff? They keep saying people are getting drafted, guys are breaking their bones because they fear the draft.

They are not drafting, all of that was never what Putin ordered. Putin ordered a call-up of reserves. The 300,000 are people who were in the military, rotated out onto the reserve rolls, and have been called back. They aren’t taking all these guys and putting them through 6 months of boot, like Russia does for military forces. They are calling them back, giving them 2 weeks of reorientation, and deploying them.

Do people really think Russia, with the massive Army they have active, instead decided to grab kids off the street, handing them an AK, and dropping them in Ukraine? Do people think Putin would not know that would just get everybody slaughtered, and cost him his office? Would we do that, with an Army a fraction the size of Russia’s?

I swear, the amount of misinformation on this subject is pretty amazing.

You are indeed describing it as Putin described it. But the reality is very different. There is no doubt that conscription of the untrained is occurring including the taking of young men from the lines waiting to enter Estonia from Russia.

And we know this because our mainstream media is telling us it?

Look, I wrote a book on politics, and began to become an honest influencer, with a sizable following. Both neighbors were moved out, and replaced with surveillance people who follow me when I shop, like victims of Ed Buck said he had. The ten year old KID next door is on tape, in front of the surveillance camera at the end of my driveway, talking to another surveillance KID, about how my follow went that day. Because I literally have a 24/7 East German Stasi-like surveillance detail sent in to harass me, to get me to stop my online activities. And those kids are running as agents in the local school on other kids, building files on them. And I think this has been going on decades. You may have had a kid in your school, filing reports with their parent on interactions that had with you, which could be looked up today in your file. It has taken me ten years of seeing it daily to even accept it is possible in the US.

Everything you see is controlled. And lies. And not for the good of the country. The honest voices are stifled and shut down.

If you honestly believe Putin is destroying himself, by sending kids with no training into a war to just die, when he destroys himself by doing that, and when he could have sent the regular military, I have a COVID booster for you, and would like to celebrate with you over Biden getting more votes than Obama to beat Trump, without campaigning.

Everything you see is an intel op, designed to manipulate. you.

My main sources are friends and family in Ukraine but I also have some in Russia. That is how I know about incidents at the Estonian border crossing.

So you are telling me Russia is taking untrained young guys, just taking them off the street, handing them an AK, and dropping them off in Ukraine? Especially, when one, they want to win, and two, that is likely to just get all those people slaughtered, and cause an uprising against Putin when they lose?

If they are going to war, there is a ton to know, just to receive orders, operate radios, even ELINT-avoidance these days, just survival, before you even get to killing. Anybody in the Russian Military would see that as akin to taping a banana to their head. It makes no sense, to the point it is impossible.

How do you know the guys grabbed at the border were not reservists fleeing a call-up?

And why are guys who are not reservists fleeing, if Putin said he was just calling up reservists?

I’m sorry, but that makes no sense, to the point I have to think it is fake. Especially when they have the reservists, and every reason to simply call them up and send them.

Unless Putin’s chain of command is infiltrated by the Western Intelligence Cabal, and they are sabotaging the Russian effort from within the Russian military command, I would assume your relatives are getting bad intel.

I said nothing about the amount of training conscripts receive. But in the Lugansk Oblast the forcefully conscripted Ukrainians get very little training and obviously most do not want to fight for Russia. Their cadavers have vastly increased the size of the cemetery in Alchevsk. The Russian troops in general do not have the spirit or jauntiness of Ukrainian troops. The intrepid tactics and determination of Ukrainian soldiers is an important reason the one-time-zone country is besting the eleven-time-zone country.

Thanks for sharing that. Explains a lot about your posts and “expertise” on the subject.

Rather like the Rusfuan Front, the troll factory is running low on well trained talent and they’re making themselves a lot easier to spot.

Military conscription is mandatory in russia, upon turning 18 every man is given basic militia training and then considered a member of the reserves.

Gun handling is probably covered but not important frontline war fighting stuff. Make no mistake, these are militia conscripts.

Something to watch closely is Russian use of the little Iranian bomb drones with the grapefruit-size 50HP motors. That really is a game changer and rain and mud won’t stop it...

Can you find that article and post a link?

“This was originally a “special military operation.”

That was the first mistake.

You’d think that they might have learned from our “police actions” were we failed at.

The USA has not won a single conflict since WW2. NOT ONE.

Some would say the first gulf war..OH Yes, the one where pappy Bush let the criminal get away when he had him by the nuts.

BTW, has anyone heard how the international criminal courts case against the Ukraine is going? You know, the one where some 41 countries signed up and filed complaints again the Ukraine for crimes against humanity?

That’s why the strategic bombers so far seem to be limited to firing standoff munitions.

“they’re gonna be AAM/SAM bait.”

They do not have to fly over “The Ukraine” to send a hyper sonic missile in.

Numbers don't lie.

Ukraine will run out of Ukes before Russia runs out of Russians, and all the while Ukes die faster than Russians, while you cheer from the rear.

Let's think about that for a second. So Russia has a large total population but only has 300,000 Russkies in Ukraine, about 80-100,000 of them are dead or injured.

Ukraine has 1.1 million soldiers and reserves, and are still training more--and I mean actual, real training--such that the numbers are increasing every month.

Reportedly Russia has mobilized 300,000 more, but secretly are mobilizing 1 million, which they are going to do in three waves of 300,000 or so.

These soldiers will be shitty, will retreat right away (as they are now), can't be supplied because of shitty Russian logistics, and/or will just die in the cold because a Russian general stole all the funds for 1.3 million winter coats.

With THIS math, you sure things are going to work out for the Russkies, Putinist?

Russia has a population advantage over Ukraine of nearly four to one, so yeah, things look bad for your fellow Nazis in Ukraine.

The longer this goes on, the worse off Ukraine will be.
