Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Friday that the sabotage of the Nord Stream natural gas pipelines could be advantageous for Europe because the continent may no longer be able to rely on Russian energy.
Blinken told reporters that Europe now has a “tremendous opportunity” to achieve energy independence since it can no longer rely on Russian gas deliveries through Nord Stream 1 and 2 during a press conference. After European nations discovered gas leaks in the Baltic Sea on Sept. 27, President Joe Biden and the European Union (EU) both said that the leaks were caused by a “deliberate act” of sabotage.

This event has helped me to further realize that completely immoral individuals are leading the USA. My prayers are that the people will rise up and vote these leftists out of power in the next election, although I have my doubts about that.

Pretty much my thought too. Russia has everything to lose from doing this. Eventually there will be a post-war world where they want to sell this product into the EU again. They would just about never want the pipelines to be destroyed.

The sabotaging isn’t destroying the pipeline — probably just turning off valves or puncturing.
Could we call our government’s restrictions on our fossil fuel supplies in order to stimulate green alternatives a form of sabotage?

That there are people still willing to entertain the asinine thought that the Russians did this to themselves continues to boggle the mind. Do they enjoy trumpeting to the world that they do not participate in critical thinking and just lap up whatever lies the MSM’s feed them lock stock and barrel?
So the same people who first supported the pipeline’s construction are now welcoming its destruction. Where is the acknowledgement that President Trump rightly said the pipeline will be used to blackmail Western Europe? It belongs in all the reporting, IMO.
