Far-left Portland city council member @JoAnnPDX, who blames Portland's violent decline on white supremacy, was asked by Portland's left wing newspaper "Willamette Week" about the city's surging gun violence. She struggled to answer. She is polling double digits behind challenger Rene Gonzalez
Are those two phenomena connected? We asked City Commissioner Jo Ann Hardesty and her opponent in the Nov. 8 election, small-business owner and lawyer Rene Gonzalez.
We heard two very different answers."
Far-left Portland city council member @JoAnnPDX, who blames Portland’s violent decline on white supremacy,
Based on that sentence, Portland’s violent crime decrease is due to white supremacy, so white supremacists are helping decrease Portland’s violent crime which is a good thing.
Better than more cops — DA’s who are actually want to control crime and are funded enough to do it.
Not in Uvalde.
There is only one neighborhood in Portland where it is really dangerous. And you will shocked, SHOCKED, to know the main Blvd is MLK Blvd. And for extra diversity Portland threw in Caesar Chavez blvd. In fact, the multnomah county jail stopped publishing mug shots because nearly ALL violent crime was by “people of color.”
End of mug shots has to be opposed.
They allow people to match someone they saw to crimes while on the loose and this saves lives and property. What if it’s the search for someone’s child or grandchild? “Look for a young man in a hoodie and athletic shoes. Some facial hair.”
No one is falsely accused by having their genuine mug shot seen; it merely speeds the progress of the full investigation. If they are innocent this time it will be shown. If not, a perp is stopped.
Hardesty: “I make up things as I go along Now you want me to back it up with facts? Over my head for sure.”
Well, we know for certain that LESS police officers means more gun violence, so I would say that question would be easy to answer for anyone with two brain cells to rub together.
Please explain to me how this woman can possibly complain about white supremacy while wearing an Eddie Bauer vest?
Oh, wait, I know. The Bellevue-based company bought her off. “No white privilege here!”
That may be a veiled statement against the Boyle family and Columbia Sportswear.
