California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed a bill into law Thursday making the state a refuge for transgender kids and their families who travel there to receive the gender-affirming care they’re banned from accessing in their home states.
The new law, which will go into effect on Jan. 1 next year, takes direct aim at Alabama and Texas for those two states’ efforts to criminalize parents who allow their transgender children to receive hormone therapy and other types of gender-affirming treatments.

Why have they named these treatments gender-affirming care?
Wouldn’t the treatments be gender affirming , if they help people understand they are a boy, or a girl, as the case may be? Wouldn’t it affirm their gender if they gave counseling to people to make them understand that they are in fact one sex or the other?

You’ve probably seen “that South Park episode.” This was years and years ago, when this was just starting in Europe.
I have my own theory about why the TV animated series South Park has been so spot-on with many of its predictions, but that is neither here nor there.
Once the number of “new trannies” starts to explode - remember, a majority of these will be very young people, high-school and college age - there will also be an explosion of disease. The cities of the USA, which used to be examples of urban sanity and cleanliness, productivity and luxury to the entire world, will become dystopian nightmares that most people have a hard time imagining even AFTER all the TV-watching they’ve done.
