On Thursday, California Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law a piece of legislation that will designate the state as a sanctuary for children and teens seeking medicalized gender transitions.
Newsom’s signature on the bill, SB 107, comes nearly a month after the California legislature passed State Senator Scott Wiener’s bill, which was introduced in 2021.
The bill allows families or individual minors who traveled to the state for the purpose of these medical procedures to be safe from out-of-state authorities acting on subpoenas, warrants, and child custody issues if the minor was brought into the state for procedures like surgical gender reassignments or the prescribing of cross-sex hormones.

I think you are right about that-don’t you have to be an adult-over 18-to buy a plane ticket? I suppose if they were old enough to have a drivers’ license-16 in most states-and a car of their own, they could just take off and drive there-but a younger kid is going to need someone older to get them a plane ticket or drive them to Cali-and if that happens, if Cali is protecting them-but they leave and go back to their own state, they are likely to be charged with at least contributing to the delinquency of a minor, I would think- maybe they will have to stay there to avoid prosecution...
If some adult actually does transport a kid to Cali for any of those ruinous “treatments” they need to be charged with kidnapping the minute they cross the line to their own state...
I’m not a lawyer, but if a child from a state that considers this type of procedure to be illegal does in fact travel to California and has the procedures performed, does this make Newsom liable for aiding and abetting the commission of a felony? Can he be arrested and tried when he travels to or through the offended state? Can the offended state force a plane to land if it travels through the state’s airspace? Can a sympathetic state also arrest and transfer Newsom to the offended state?
Can the doctor and members of the surgical team be similarly charged?
They’re gonna pay for this. And especially at the ballot box.
Let the class action suits begin.
I hope Newsom winds up living on the street. That same
street he helped so many others occupy.
They already won’t extradite contractor fraud to Florida. There will be a warrant waiting for a trip somewhere else just the same.
Must be a violation of Federal law to cross state line to mutilate children.

Legalizing kidnapping and genital mutilation.
he thinks he can be President he does this. lol.
Now they really are not worried at all, surprised (?) that they get away with so much, wondering just how far they can go.
If you have to ask it implies you are a Deplorable, a patriot and an honest, law abiding conservative.
Newsom checks none of those boxes.
Load 'em up Californians; normal capacity magazines, extended capacity magazines, standard release magazines, firearms with bayonet lugs, bi-pods, suppressors, long arms with pistol grips, etc.
(Of course genital mutilation is NOT a right whereas the right to keep and bear arms is inalienable and recognized as such in the Constitution).
Can states just be like “no, we won’t act on a legal subpoena/warrant/child custody battle from this other state”? Maybe it’s common, I don’t know, I’ve never heard of such. Other countries, yes, but not other states.
I have heard that before and it scares the hell out of me.
The White-Slave Traffic Act, also called the Mann Act, is a United States federal law, passed June 25, 1910 (ch. 395, 36 Stat. 825; codified as amended at 18 U.S.C. §§ 2421–2424) which makes it illegal to engage in interstate or foreign transport of any woman or girl for the purpose of prostitution or other illegal sexual acts.
If it’s a Texas girl, do the Rangers go get her?
So if I’m a non-custodial parent can I take my son from his mom and flee to CA to “affirm” he’s a boy? I mean, it is gender affirming. And apparently I’d be free from prosecution.
