(from the KTLA website): "Just a day after Californians saw gas top $6 for a gallon of regular unleaded, gasoline prices made their largest jump in seven years overnight.
According to AAA, the Los Angeles-Long Beach region increased 15.3 cents overnight to $6.26/gallon Thursday.
The price increase is the largest since a 15.1 cent increase in July 2015.
It was also the 27th consecutive day gas prices have risen in Los Angeles County, where prices are 67 cents higher than they were a week ago.
Statewide, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded stands at $6.18, which is still less than the record high of $6.46 set in June.
The national average is just $3.78 per gallon."
(My Comment): Just in time for the State to start issuing the State Fighting Inflation checks from Sacramento !
Anywhere else, that would be considered a buying votes
See post #2 for added insight as to inflation in the State.
Here in Indiana we just have crummy old regular gas.
But in California, consumers get to sample boutique blends.
We need to punish all the dead people who vote for Democrats.

Generic gas went from 5.99 to 6.09 overnight and name brand went from 6.00 to 6.29.
Price increases are electronic and controlled at the home offices not the stations.
Some/many zips/cities in California are over the above prices.
Is Biden going to investigate California for price gouging?
$6.80 + here in LA = Biden

The young and the elderly are getting hammered on the rental prices.
A retired friend, who is a widower had a nice one bedroom apt and was paying $1500/month rental. He had covid and when he got out of the hospital, his rent went to $2000. The apt manager told our friend that the owners of the apt were projecting $3000 per month for his apt.
Fortunately, he had family here, and they converted their garage into a grannie home for him.
One couple, who are like our older sister and brother, have 7 adult grandkids, who have good degrees and jobs. They are renting 2 homes and sharing the costs while living together.
I paid 4.95 last Friday.
On Monday, I was greeted to 5.65.
Yeah!
Just nominal increase...or another $15 buck per full tank out of my pocket.

The threat was against oil companies as well once again proving pedo joe knows NOTHING about economics and commodities markets.
I paid $3.09 at Costco in NJ.
