There are homeless shelters in grants pass, sounds like this one just wanted to sleep anywhere and the 9th circus said yes you can.
You used the term ‘vast majority’ in your posting. Well, the vast majority who are homeless simply due to unfortunate circumstances will also be of the mindset not to remain homeless and will likely have friends or relatives to assist them in one way or another.
As has happened throughout my life. People willing to help themselves will receive assistance, again, in one way or another.
Some of you people seem to think everyone reacts the same to homelessness, but that is not the case at all.
By your own admission, you were never homeless, because you had support you could fall back upon. Consider yourself to be one of the lucky ones. Not everyone has that kind of support, or they choose not to reach out for that support.
I did make is sound rather easy, didn’t I. Nonetheless, I do feel where there is the will, there is a way, however difficult.

I agree. Also send them to the neighborhoods of homeless advocates and the wealthy elites that pay these homeless advocates. Then send them to the government officials homes who have released these people from prison or mental hospitals early.
Oregon is GONE. Grants pass was broke already!! They can’t even afford law enforcement most of the time.
Send them to Martha’s Vineyard?
This issue is ripe for the USSC.
All we need is a government to make the appeal.
Depends on a lot of factors, bu there have been some with the will who found the way. Youth helps a lot for that to occur.
My whole point though, was for people to stop generalizing that all homeless people are homeless due to their own bad choices. Think of abused women, and even children, who have chosen to live on the streets to escape their abusers. For many they jumped into an even more abusive environment. Older people who have had sick spouses that they stood by even though it bankrupted them, leaving them destitute after the spouse had died.
But like I said, the overwhelming majority only have their poor life decisions to blame for the predicament of homelessness they are experiencing. For them, the sympathy level is zip. The only exception are those who were forced fed their addictive substance by someone who wanted to control them. They too deserve special consideration.
Always remember, that there are no black & white circumstances for everyone. For some there are gray areas that need to be considered as well.

Only if the courts also banned laws against trespassing, which they haven’t.
