In other news . . . it’s hurricane season . . . . again . . . . . in the same place . . . . yawn.
Nobody is looking at this as lightly as you....this is slated to land at a cat 4 and slow moving potential high across most of Florida and above it.
Guess you don’t live where hurricanes make landfall. Lucky for you. There is nothing funny about it.

Yep. They’re late this year. Hurricanes season started in June. A very late start.

Artic ice is coming back with the ice pack bigger than it has been for the last ten years, thats not mentioned. We will alwyas have storms and hurricanes, and some are worse than others. Get used to it! The government cannot protect you , never could protect you and never will be able to protect you from the weather. Build your home om the rock, not sand and if you want to be a Son of a Beach? Well, you pays your money and you takes your chances.
Tell that to my beloved friend who just went through one of the worst hurricanes since she has lived on Newfoundland Island (75 years!)...she has sobbed for days at the devastation. Worst in the history of the coast.
