Vladimir Putin has fired the general charged with managing the Russian military's faltering logistics operations in Ukraine.
Gen Dmitry Bulgakov, a deputy defence minister, was removed from his role on Saturday, the defence ministry said on Telegram.
The ministry said the 67-year old was "released" to transfer into a new role.
He will be replaced by Col Gen Mikhail Mizintsev, who managed Moscow's brutal siege at the port city of Mariupol.
Gen Bulgakov has run the military's logistics operations since 2008 and was responsible for keeping Russian troops supplied after their deployment to Syria in 2015.
...Gen Bulgakov's dismissal comes as footage circulated on social media showing newly drafted Russian recruits being equipped with rusty assault rifles.
...Mr Putin had denied his commanders permission to retreat from the southern city of Kherson, where Ukrainian troops are slowly advancing.
...his refusal to consider a pullback had caused a decrease in morale among Russian troops in the city, who are largely cut off from their supply lines and rely on a series of pontoon bridges to be re-equipped.

General Bulgakov didn’t fall out a window or off a boat yet?
Is this guy responsible for Russia running out of fuel back in early March?
Like Lincoln, Putin has so many General Mclellan’s and Meade’s. He’s still looking for his General Grant.
Your like? What is”your like”?
From a contact in Russia:
On mobilization in Russia
One of my friends got mobilized recently. He’s a mobile gamedev and a conscientious objector. So he tried to flee his city (Petrozavodsk) and drove to the nearest border (of Kazakhstan) but the seemingly endless traffic jam made him return in despair.
That’s how they caught him and transported to the nearest voenkomat. He couldn’t believe his eyes. There was a WW2 veteran standing in line as a volunteer. Soldiers were given out vatniks sheathed in camo print. Boots with so many holes that they looked like crocs and kits with personal hygiene items that included condoms. Yes, condoms. A Russian analogue of Durex - Gusarskiye so naturally they were also peppered w/ holes - a point of hearty laughter of everyone involved
They were to be transported in cargo section of soviet plane to Ukraine.
They were allowed to “relax” for a few hours before that - i.e get drunk/high out of their minds and listen to the instructions of the Politruk who riled them up by talking about beauty of the Ukrainian woman and prosperity of the average household.
The tattered drunks of all ages were all ears. “Listen up, scum. You’re about to fly first class to a western democracy. So do what you do best: destroy their livelihoods and make them pay for being better than us. We will defile their land because we can. First and foremost, we are Eurasianists. We’ve learned from the best: Mongols, fascists and communists. You don’t need any training - it’s in your blood. No need for fancy gear either. The strongest will survive and bring his enemies to heel” as my friend later recalled speech.
So obviously he was looking for a way to escape this. He stood up and said “I’m gay”. A crazed mob jumped him and beat him bloody. But he smiled the whole time, ignoring broken ribs and bruises. Nevertheless he persisted. He’s going to prison for life for his orientation instead.

“Supply Chain” issues finally find Russia???
Republicans WON’T Fund Ukraine War! Dem Senator Threatens
Democratic Senator Chris Murphy of Connecticut is worried that if the GOP takes over either house of Congress in the midterm elections, that will spell the end for funding the war in Ukraine. Journalistic servants of empire Paul Waldman and Greg Sargent dutifully repeat Murphy’s words in the pages of the Washington Post, raising the alarm and fearmongering about the calamitous lack of war that might ensue if Republicans win an electoral victory.

I like what a person said in the comments: “if you don’t vote for me, we’ll waste less money on proxy wars” ~ Dumbascrap politician [like Dementia Joe]
Polls: Americans Oppose Increasing Ukraine Aid, Defending Global Democracy
Concerning what Americans want, which is not proxy wars like Ukraine, as shown above in the polls in a previous post:
Libtards and assistant Democrat neocons carrying out the will of the people is as likely as the Dutch Eurotrash government (one of several in Europe) doing so.
They had their police use attack dogs on COVID mandate protesters in 2022, and in 1/2 and 2/2 below completely ignored the will of the people in 2005 and 2016. The libtard Dutch elite ignored the referenda and plowed ahead against the will of the people in 2005 and 2016.
But yet the EU/NATO/west rushed to accept a raised hand vote in Kosovo in 2008 for independence that wasn’t even a referendum and even though it went against the Serbian constitution.
And now the EU/NATO/west said the referenda in Donetsk, Luhansk, etc, etc were a “sham” before they even started voting, with no evidence, and even though numerous vidreos show long lines of people leacefully voting in multiple areas. All the while they ignored polling places beimg shelled but focused on the soldiers there protecting voters, and also ignored Zelensky’s govt declaring you will be imprisoned if you vote.
1/2
Dutch say ‘devastating no’ to EU constitution
2/2
Dutch referendum voters overwhelmingly reject closer EU links to Ukraine
OTOH, it’s hardly the logistics chief fault if the logistics don’t exist, except as a scapegoat of course ...

You say?
Apparently, you failed to notice in your photo the leeches are a positive influence!
The leeches are being used to remove poisons from a human.
A very positive function.
Do you think leeches can remove negative interloper trolls that add nothing and waste time?
