Well, Hong Kong just basically dropped all COVID restrictions as of the 28th of this month. No idea if the two things are related.
But HK was following the “Zero COVID” policy like China, now they are not.

To be honest, I think China is getting ready for a war in a few months. I think this Xi disappearance and the lockdowns is just a symptom of many of the serious problems they brought unto themselves.
