An elections conspiracy theorist will be able to challenge Republican Secretary of State Frank LaRose as a political independent in the Nov. 8 election after all after the Ohio Supreme Court voted Tuesday to restore her candidacy, overturning an earlier decision from LaRose’s office.

In a 4-2 opinion, the court ruled that LaRose improperly failed to accept nine signatures – eight from Cuyahoga County and one from Columbiana County – that Terpsehore “Tore” Maras gathered after a July 5 deadline that LaRose had ordered administratively, but before a July 15 date that appears in Ohio law.

The court ordered LaRose to accept the signatures, which pushes Maras above the 5,000-signature threshold independent candidates must gather from Ohio voters to qualify for the ballot. Republican Chief Justice Maureen O’Connor joined the court’s three Democrats in issuing the ruling, while Republican justices Pat DeWine and Pat Fischer dissented....

Why would they let a Trump supporter run in the primary against the establishment republican?

O WAIT! THIS IS NOT FOR THE GOP NOMINATION!

This is for the general election and they want the republican vote to be split so the dem can win.

“An elections conspiracy theorist”

The reporter forgot to include “semi-fascist, insurrectionist, Putin supporter, and a denier of 79 out of the scientifically proven and historically accepted 81 genders”

This is the appropriate outcome for an infringement from the Republican SOS office against the MAGA person.

As such, the Democrat will likely win, it would seem.

The Republican SOS should have followed the law, which would have caused the situation to then be argued in Court over the minor “acknowledgment” vs. “knowledge” issue they say subsequently happened.

The Republican screwed up and it looks like it was simply to not have his vote split. Now, he will likely be out of his job.

Dude..
The secretary of state overrode the law and established his own rules for the election.
Are you for incumbents making their own rules?
