Oh, nothing for the West to worry about. We’ve been told, NON-STOP, here that virtually all Ukrainians hate Russia, so the referendums are bound to fail, and thus those territories will remain as part of Ukraine.

Zelensky said that ALL RUSSIANS should leave Ukraine.
90% of the Russians there are voting on just that this week, and there’s a good chance they’ll do EXACTLY what Zelensky has demanded - leave Ukraine.

Much better than seeking to expand influence and governance by force.
Communism was the people trying to rid themselves of oppressive regimes.
They in time, due to inexperience, lack of oversight and many other reasons, sadly, became themselves untenably oppressive.
Hopefully the elections can defuse the situation.
