Both my brother and me have flown MACs. I’m not going into the particulars on MAC flights, but my brother was on a KC 135 one day/night.
Coming from AK, somewhere over OK, the pilot had a flame out in one engine. My brother was sitting in the engineer’s seat. Brother went, ut oh. Pilot said no problem. Coming over FL towards Homestead AFB, pilot says feather two. Brother goes, oh shit.
My brother had some anxiety, probably pissed his pants.
Landed safely.

Race not a factor except in the race baiting article posted. The word “Unexpected” is also not used originally.
They didn’t turn into idiots, they’ve always been that way. In the AF, that’s who they promote.
Well, it’s a gradual process. You let one idiot climb the ladder and then he starts replacing all the people who are competent with other idiots because he’s threatened and needs to secure his position.

The military isn't going to recover from this. Although they may some success if they make the Active Duty Service Commitment for pilots 4 years, same as other officers, remove any and all shot mandates going forward for each individual who signs the dotted line, and allow pilots to walk away without questions carrying vested pension benefits.
Since none of that will happen, the military is not going to recover from the illegal shot mandates.
Of course they are. They just think if they don't admit it, it won't be true, which is typical social progressive "thinking". The real difficulty is that both politicians and command who are behind this don't love their country, think it's systemically evil, and want to change it by force, which their privileged positions are allowing them to do. Note the vehemence with which Kelisa Wing denied she has that power while vigorously exercising it. This is not cognitive dissonance, it's simply lying.
The administrations desired outcome is to establish precedent that the US can’t attain qualified (branch name) enlistments, thereby setting the stage for UN “assistance”. Just my thoughts.
