During the September 18 airing of CBS News’s 60 Minutes, President Joe Biden described the continued sale of semiautomatic weapons as “bizarre.”
Scott Pelley conducted a wide-ranging interview with Biden, but when it turned to guns and gun policy, Biden pledged once again to ban “assault weapons.”
Biden suggested that “there is no rationale” for owning firearms like AR-15s, AK-47s, etc.
He talked of visiting Uvalde, Texas, after the May 24, 2022, school shooting, saying he not only visited there but “every one of those places.”
Biden observed, “The NRA continuing to push the sale of assault and semiautomatic weapons is bizarre.

....this dementia-afflicted PoS has no idea what he is talking about...the NRA does not push the sale of any kind of firearm, semi-auto or single shot or muzzle-loader or anything....yes, there are plenty of ads in the NRA’s monthly publication, The American Rifleman, but the NRA is not “pushing the sale...” of anything.....what an absolute fraud...the American people deserved better than this....

The NRA is not pushing 'the sale of assault and semiautomatic weapons', it is rather RESISTING the intrusion of Government controls and restrictions as pushed by leaders of the 'D'onkey Party! Note Jobamma's creating 2 classes of guns here, I do not think it is accidental. I'd love to put him under the hot lights and have him specify the UNIQUE characteristics that differentiate assault from semiautomatic.

What about when a politician says that a movement that encompasses about half the population should be - their word - “killed”? And many in the media and in the public enthusiastically agree? Seems to be a rationale to me.
Well he has reminded us on numerous occasions that NONE of the BOR things are absolute, remember. Think there would be any “backlash” if someone attempted to “infringe” on, oh say, the 13th or 19th amendments? This (b)administration can phu cough.
