I suspect that had Trump been reelected then he would have accepted whatever seating the Brits worked out as well. The Queen is the central figure, not the attendees.
Additionally I believe leaders of Commonwealth nations have seating priority. Elizabeth was their head of state.
and President Trump would have graciously accepted whatever the Brits had arranged for transportation, seating etc ...
