California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) on Friday challenged Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) to a debate after months of hurling attacks at Gov. DeSantis.
Newsom’s proposal for a debate is the latest move in a brewing feud between him and DeSantis.

Bingo! Tis why Newsom wants to use CNN. DeSantis should counter: “we’ll use CNN, but I get to chose the moderators.” Newsom would bail in a hearbeat. When has any Leftazi wanted a “free and fair” debate, election or anything else?

Maybe Newsom wants to lure DeSantis somewhere and then arrest him for “Kidnapping”. I would never trust that evil puke.
Newsome is setting himself up for a Presidential run in 2024. MSM loves him, he’s all over the news. Nobody challenging him on conditions in CA where they’re not even guaranteed to have electricity.

DeSantis gets to pick the time and place. No need for a moderator. The internet provides the ability to stream anything they do.
If they want CNN, fine. Newsome gets to pick one person to ask questions. DeSantis does too...Tucker Carlson, can you clear your schedule for an hour or two.
Topics are pretty simple: Immigration, economy, taxes, energy, food production, over bearing government, 2A - Red Flag laws - Self defense ... possibly thrown in some foreign affairs type stuff but I doubt Newsome would want to go there. While DeSantis may not have been a big player while in Congress, he was there, he did his time overseas w/ the Navy and saw what other parts of the world are really like, not the tourist spots and 5-star hotels.
So, yeah, do it.
DeSantis should tell him there are three already pre-arranged for Fall, 2024 - as long as Newsom earns the right to be there. :)
