...Florida lawmakers put money in the state budget this year for DeSantis to transport undocumented immigrants.
“There’s also going to be buses, and there will likely be more flights,” DeSantis said Friday afternoon during an appearance at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. “But I’ll tell you this, the Legislature gave me $12 million. We’re going to spend every penny of that to make sure that we’re protecting the people of the state of Florida.”

I’d rather see fleets of garbage trucks dumping tons of garbage, trash, and human waste from the border in front of the White House. Then followed up by fleets of refrigerated semis hauling hundreds of bodies from the border to be dropped off in DC. My bet is that would get more attention than dropping off handfuls of illegals.
I like this payback. Hope it finally changes the whole issue of the southern border. Four billion to finish the wall versus 80+ billion to fight a border war in Ukraine?

The news media is just having a field day showing how “welcomed” they were at Martha’s Vineyard and got the humane treatment they were seeking vs. the ‘inhumane’ DeSantis and interviewing Martha’s Vineyard residents...as they shipped them out of their neighborhood to a military base. Some of those people probably could have written a check to each of those migrants to have them set for life merely out of their surplus income (merely spare change to them) vs. shipping them off to a military base. Did they? I bet not.
Diversity is our strength if the immigrants are vetted for skills, wealth and education.
Keep in mind the highest incomes in USA are from immigrants. Because they work harder, have higher educations and more business acumen than average Americans.
Illegals flooding across southern border flunk in skills, wealth and are not even vetted for communicable diseases.

The Republicans could have spent $100 million in advertising to educate the people in the USA about illegal immigration.
Instead, for a couple of thousand dollars Gov Ron DeSantis flies 50 illegal immigrants to Martha’s Vineyard and the leftist’s heads explode.
Aspen, Colorado is on the short list of where the next 50 immigrants are sent.
