A Look at Trump's Endorsement Record as the Primaries End

As the midterm primary season comes to an end, candidates endorsed by former President Donald Trump have continued to rack up wins but with a handful of prominent losses.

Of the more than 200 Republicans Trump has backed this year, many ran unopposed or faced little-known opponents. He has also waited to make some endorsements until a front-runner emerges, as with his last-minute endorsement of Tudor Dixon for governor of Michigan.

Several of his candidates were defeated in early primaries, including in Georgia and North Carolina; more recently, he had a startling loss in a special election in Alaska. But for candidates such as J.D. Vance in Ohio and Mehmet Oz in Pennsylvania, Trump’s support was crucial to securing victory. His choices also won in large numbers in two swing states, Arizona and Michigan.

LOL. The LSM is now making excuses as to Trump’s unimaginable primary successes.

“......rack up wins but with a handful of prominent losses.”

Why are the few losses called “prominent” but none of the wins are “prominent”?

Thanks for posting the States where Trump candidates lost.

It seems that Georgia and Michigan could be the States where there might be corrupt practices in their election systems.

The article is a thinly veiled hit piece on Trump. Note two things:

First, the author chooses to discuss first his losses.

Second, I did not see his overall record listed, which was 217-19 or a 91% winning rate. If an MLB team had that kind of record they would be approaching a 150 win season.

The only way to honestly describe the record is: OUTSTANDING!!!!

...he had a startling loss in a special election in Alaska.

Alaska has a VERY corrupt "Rank Choice Voting" that denied Sarah Palin a victory.

Does anyone know the exact number of wins and losses? “Over 200” does speak to the percentage.

Most of Trumps endorsements nationwide were incumbents with war chests and name ID. Example in MI...Theis and Vanvorkom are not Trump supporters. They are as swampy as you can get. The other candidates are ot raising money but are in safe house districts. Moolenaar over Norton was a travesty as that is an R+30 district and Trumps pick of Moolenaar who has a 58% conservative rating was a blow to the grassroots. That district is 23% of the states counties....now with a congressman who will keep it moderate instead of far right....combine that with bergmans last minute endorsement and now over 50% of the states counties are under the thumb over wishy washy Republicans. I’m the biggest Trump supporter but could care less about his win loss record....those congressmen and state reps were
Never grassroots supporters and will never be grassroots supporters. If Trump endorsed the challengers in swamp districts and won I would be more impressed. Money is the mothers milk of political campaigns and Trump isn’t going to fight the money and is NOT going to poke a hornets nest and have Congress fighting him. He picked his fights. Glad Gibbs pulled thru against Meijer but only because Norton was redistricted out of the 3rd. Now Gibbs needs to beat a D in a newly drawn D+4 district.

According to Ballotpedia, the exact numbers are 237/17.

In Georgia, yes.

In Michigan, Trump’s losses were state reps and a state senator. He won the big ones.

We’ll see what happens in November.

Did anybody hear what Biden’s batting average was in the Dem primaries? I think it was .000.

“The losses:”

Thanks for the list. That’s 17 losses out of 200 endorsements, correct.

So. The win rate (out of 200 endorsements) is 184 wins and 16 losses according to your list....... Looks like 92% to me....

Losses for Americans in Georgia are solely because of, IMO, criminal actions by our SoS, Brad Raffensperger. He should be in prison instead of being a candidate again.
