Monica Lewinsky began as a White House intern under President Bill Clinton in 1995
Former White House intern Monica Lewinsky said the death of Ken Starr, whose probe of Bill Clinton exposed her affair with the former president, evoked 'complicated feelings' but acknowledged that his loss was "painful" for those who love him.
"As I'm sure many can understand, my thoughts about Ken Starr bring up complicated feelings...but of more importance, is that I imagine it's a painful loss for those who love him," Lewinsky tweeted shortly after Starr's family confirmed his death Tuesday at the age of 76...

She has something to say again.
Honestly, she was very reasonable with that.
I’m impressed.
Monica has impressed me with her maturity about things like this talk in 2016.

“I regret that mistake deeply”
among other things.
I’m inclined to feel sorry for Monica. Yes,she was foolish...but she was a kid.Luckily for her,she saved the dress. If she hadn’t many...perhaps even most...Americans would see her even today as “that lying, delusional, whore looking to slander a President who cares so deeply about us”
Dead like Chandra Levy or Lori Klausutis.
That was a very classy statement. Sure, she did something sleazy and pretty awful when she was young, but it’s unfair to judge her negatively for that her entire life.
Ken star was deep state, perhaps unwillingly.
Ken Star knew full well that Vince foster did not “ kill himself in fort Marcy park.”
Why are here absolutely zero images of Vince leaving the most secure building on the planet?
(The SS hid the photos, because Vince was already dead.)
Ken knew, and played along. Threatened? Likely, imo.
I have met him many times. He was a very nice and intelligent family man. He will be missed.
It is tough when young people go to the White House, are so idealistic, then get a realistic close-up view of the Chief Executive which the rest of us do not see, and eventually have to come to terms with the scumbag, and turn states evidence or bring out stuff on him. That must be quite a lifetime education. She certainly was not the first nor last.
> Honestly, she was very reasonable with that.
Yep, proper response. It was nice of her to reach out like that.
She has always been very useful and creative with her mouth...
POS Joe Scarborough got away with murder.
I appreciate her seeing her role in the situation with Bill Clinton years ago “I made a mistake” is what she said in 2016.
She has also said that Bill “should want to apologize” for his role in that matter in 2018.
Her gut instincts are still liberal but she is sane and mature enough to see a mistake in her actions.
Can’t remember the title of the documentary / interview series with her from a few years ago - but I respected that she blamed herself first for everything that happened.
She was a naive and stupid young girl, who was first used by Bill Clinton, and then fell into a political maelstrom.
Maturation...a VERY good thing.
From Day One I have laid 100% of the blame on Clinton. OF COURSE she was going to have a crush on him, OF COURSE she would try to flirt with him. BUT HE WAS THE EFFING POTUS. He actually had more important things to do than flirt with a pretty intern. HE was the adult and should have shut it down IMMEDIATELY, but obviously, his ego ruled all...
Monica was what, 18ish? She may have made mistakes and she certainly took a public beating. However, she has fought it all, persevered and yet she shows class.
She has become a lady despite what an evil, uncaring demonic jerk politician lead her into.
