Western media tells us that Ukraine is all of a sudden winning the war with a massive offensive against Russia. Is this true? Well, it was an advance for Ukraine but it wasn't massive. We show you the maps and data, imagine that!

Why are people actively rooting for the Russian?
Just root for a negotiated peace, which was made possible by the massively successful Uke Offensive.
A while back, leaked documents exposed the Ukrainian military and showed that around half of the Ukrainian military was dead, could never fight again, went AWOL, etc, a far higher percentage than Russia is experiencing.
This is why Ukraine had no choice but to bet it all on going offensively.
This leak of Ukrainian documents, that was reported on extensively, occurred around the time of Zelensky’s purge of government officials.

I haven't seen people actively rooting for the Russians. I think everyone just wants these two countries to go to the peace making table to end it. According to this report most the Ukrainian soldiers are spent. The soldiers there now are NATO soldiers posing as foreign legion types. If true this is a huge breach.
Russia is not going to lose this war. They will lose battles just like in any war between nations but they will win. Peace was possible back in May of this year but the west, as in the USA, did not want it. Gee; do you think the military industrial complex might have had something to do with that decision so they could make billions by selling their products?

The Russians themselves admit they have retreated. Russian Spokesman for the Ministry of Defense shows Russian troops have retreated.
During a daily briefing for journalists the Russian defense ministry showed territories in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region which are still controlled by Russian forces.
A map presented at the briefing showed that a small territory in the east of the Kharkiv region, across the Oskol river, remains under Russian control (marked in pink below).
This map, in comparison with one shown at yesterday’s briefing, makes clear that the Russian military has retreated from the northern Kharkiv region. Of note, they have left the city of Vovchansk, on the border of Russia, which has been occupied since the first days of the war. The Ukrainian flag has already been seen over Vovchansk.

True. Russia is going to go the negotiating table, give back most of the land it currently occupies, Putin is going to blame his Generals for everything and hand them over to the Hague.
It sure got quiet around here about “meat grinders” and “artillery”, when the Russians folded like a cheap suit in Kharkiv Oblast. This makes it seems like some here on FR are invested in some sort of Russian victory, instead of looking at the war as an objective observer.
The Russian Army is not good. They don’t have NVG’s they don’t have high tech weapons and they have terible tactics (they do the same thing over and over and over again, hoping it will work this time)
The Kharkiv offensive seems to have worked because they waited for the farmers to harvest the fields (so the Russians could steal the grain) they they just drove high speed over the harvested fields, because they knew they weren’t mined.
A Russian soldier on an intercepted phone call couldn’t believe they didn’t come down the main road.
The best comment I’ve seen so far is when the documentary of the Russian invasion is made, will it be shown on the History Channel, or the Comedy Channel.
I don't think it's rooting for Russia so much as mistrusting the main stream narrative. The deep state SURE want us to believe that Ukraine is the good guy. Highly suspicious considering all the crap that we KNOW Democrats and Republicans were doing in Ukraine.
